Good taste
This Sumac tastes really good. I had bought Morrisons own brand before which did not have much flavour. Morrisons no longer stock the item, but as it is supposed to be good for you I thought I would purchase Sumac from elsewhere……. This is so much better, it’s not so fine and has a very distinctive flavour and aroma. I’m so glad Morrisons stopped stocking it.

Great spice at a good price!
I love Persian cookery, of which this spice is a ubiquitous part. Unfortunately not always available in the local supermarkets. So ordered this, very reasonably priced, arrived next day, smells and tastes like Sumac should.

Turkish street food
I haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it's what I need to make Balik Durum!

Tasty! No salt added either
Really flavourful, lemony, zingy taste to enhance the taste of salads, cous cous, rice or whatever you want to sprinkle this on or in to.My Persian friend tells me he values the Turkish variety, which this is, so I have it on good authority from one who uses this a lot!

Recommended in the Guardian. First taste and texture was that of a crumbled beef Oxo. Undecided whether it's a valuable addition to any dishes as yet. Must experiment. Doing so, it's not a stunning addition so far.
