Parts Express Cable Pants 10mm 2-Conductor, Black (Pack of 10)

Makes everything neat and professional. These are inexpensive and I would not make a cable without using these.

The Parts Express Cable Pants are a really cool way to terminate your speaker cables. At first, I had a hard time getting the two wires to go through the slight bend in the 'pants', but after bending both towards the outside of the pants, they slid right through. I used a heat gun to shrink the large end, which covered my wire mesh wire cover. Looks great! Easy to use!

I bought these 10mm pants for use with fairly standard 14g (Metra Helios) and WGGE banana plugs. So far, so good. The legs fit the wire without any tricks or Purrell needed. Slid in quiet easily. I would think 12g would need some help. The “waist” is a bit oversized as I currently don’t have any sleeving. Looks pretty good. The pants appear to be good quality. No tears. I‘m building out with Monoprice 12g CL2 wire and it’s working well. The CL2 conductor insulation is actually thinner than standard, indoor wire insulation so the wires slipped into the legs easily as well.

Fit over regular 12 ga speaker. Will not fit over GearIt 12 ga speaker wire. Like i said fits over regular 12ga speaker wire and looks great.

This heat shrink tubing works perfectly for clean, secure connections—simple to use and holds up great!

Very good quality. Just make sure you order the right size for your needs. I highly recommend it.

There are a number of other reviews indicating that these are a snug fit for 12 gauge speaker cable, but that did not match my experience. With KnuKonceptz 12 gauge Kord cable, these were too small to use.

Used these along with cable sheaths while upgrading the wires in my home theater, provided a huge improvement in aesthetics and protection from cat teeth. Easily fit on both Monoprice 12awg ofc and Amazon 14awg ofc cables. They're long which is great for versatility, but I trimmed mine down a bit in the photos.

Still not used but the product looks Awesome 👍🏻

Product is very easy to use and easily works with 12/2 as well as 14/2 guage wires. Even if the cables are wrapped with PET, they still can be fitted with these cable pants. Would order again without hesitation as they met my needs to clean cable managements. I have not tried them on 4 conductor cable.
