Good lock, uses your vehicle key
I love bolt products. I only have to have my ignition key to unlock my spare. It's got a good cover to keep out the weather and road grime. I just make sure I operate the lock every few months just in case some gunk does get inside.

Quick and easy install
Works great and protects the spare tire better. Fits my first oversized 35” tire with the included spacer, and is keyed off the Jeep’s ignition key. Only issue is that you need a deep 22” socket to install or remove, so if you are doing anything off-road or away from home you may need to carry a spare 22” deep socket to remove the spare.

Kind of big, Needs extra tool
I very much like that it uses the exact key from the Jeep. For this reason it is kind of big, but worth it to me. Something they should tell you is that you have to use a deep well 22mm socket to remove the wheel nut after you remove the lock. You can't remove the wheel nut without it, so you must have one in the car in case you need the spare. I don't know if it could be easily removed by slugging it with a big hammer, it's size could facilitate this, but I think it is enough of a deterrent for our purposes. Overall I think it is great, and glad to have it!

Very nice
A little pricey but for piece of mind I suppose its worth it. Its very beefy, so I would suspect it will hold up well. If anything its a deterrent.

need deep socket to remove spare tire. 8(
nice idea, lousy execution. cant remove the supplied replacement lugnut that locks with the jeep factory lug wrench, so you need to carry a 22mm deep socket and ratchet around to get your spare tire off

My only complaint is how far this sticks out from the tire, however it's definitely worth it for the added security and peace of mind.

The rims on the 4XE are different. I took a chance already knowing that, wasn’t a huge deal. I had to add a rubber garden hose washer to stop the sleeve from rattling. It was about 3MM too loose. And yes I tried it with and without the extension. I would purchase again. Not a deal breaker.
