Optrel Clearmaxx Grinding Helmet, 1100.000

This Swiss Made face shield is made for grinding. It is very comfortable, even for a guy with a long beard wearing a respirator and goggles. The adjustment knob works by pushing it in and turning it. It tightened, but was still comfortable. The padding is excellent and in all the right places. I used it for protection while grinding and cutting a sheet metal plenum on a very hot (100+ degree Fahrenheit) roof and the face shield didn't fog up and blocked all the hot metal bits from hitting my face and beard. The price was reasonable and it's an awesome investment. Nice to find a high quality face shield not made of chinesium.

I live in Hong Kong and wanted a decent visor as I'm just starting to learn to use wood and metal lathes at work. Wearing standard goggles with the mandatory Covid facemask doesn't work as the goggles just fog up and having had a scratched cornea before I was happy to spend a decent amount on a decent visor. The moulded plastic strikes a good balance of rigidity with weight so its not too heavy / cumbersome. The adjustable headpiece is comfortable with padded sections and with various modes of adjustment to get the positioning right. The viewing window is a good size so I can see the workpiece but also surrounding areas in my peripheral vision which is important when there's other people moving about. Overall it seems extremely well put together using quality materials and assembly and it looks damn good too, like someone actually put some thought into the design. I've not had anything fly at my face yet so can't comment on the strength of the lens which I figure ultimately is the most important aspect of any visor but so far everything else gets a solid thumbs up from me.

I would like to know how to buy replacement lens for the helmet. Can't find them anywhere. If you have to buy a new helmet instead of a lens then this is a bad investment.

Really nice product, didn't want any more cheap junk face shields. Glasses and my ear plugs fit under the shield, no problem. Provides whole face protection. Comfortable! Would buy again.

This shield is great! Comfortable, stays in place, feels pretty safe.

I think this is an awesome face shield. Whether I'm grinding something or using my weed whacker, it protects my face from debris. Super comfortable and lightweight. I highly recommend it. Can't beat the price.

Annehmen zu tragen und sehr praktisch besonders für Brillenträger. Kein komisches Fummeln mit einer Schutzbrille über der normalen Brille, viele Einstellmöglichkeiten, daher absolut empfehlenswert
