Beautiful- the hunt is over
Had been looking for a tremolo harmonica that had the sound quality of the harmonica my dad used to play back in the 50s. Not easy to find these days. But the hunt is over. This sounds fantastic. Lives up to long ago memories of amazing full bodied melodies that flowed with seemingly effortless execution. Beautifully made harmonica. Wonderful to play, so smooth on the lips, and the Tremolo effect itself is heavenly. I had tried the model below this by Suzuki - meaning the one that does not say ‘humming’ on it - and there is no comparison. The lower end is rough on the lips and the tremolo was not that noticeable. This one is amazing. I will be sticking with the ‘humming’ line when acquiring additional keys. Suzuki rocks my harmonica world. P.s. the case is well made too. Easy to open. No finger pinches getting it in and out of the case.

Habit-forming Harmonica!
I have complete key-sets of 3 different Hohner 10 hole diatonic harmonicas including Meister Klasse 580, Special 20 and Golden Melody. The Suzuki Humming 21 C is my first non-Hohner and first Tremolo. I bought it on a whim just wanting to try something different and for well under $100 it was not a high-risk experiment. After 5 minutes with it, I was in love! It rivals the Hohner Meister Klasse 580 for ease of play and the tremolo tone is wonderful. It has become my day to day favorite.I work at home, mostly on the computer and on conference calls. The Suzuki always sits right by my monitor and gets a lot of play. I even fitted it to my Hohner MZ 2010 Flex Rack Holder for playing while on muted conference calls! One note here, the design of the Suzuki Humming 21 is such that it will not stay in the holder of the wonderful Hohner Flex Rack. The simple solution to this problem is to put two rubber bands lengthwise around the harmonica (1/4" apart) and presto, the rack holder holds the harmonica very securely.Warning, this experiment just got more expensive because just before doing this review I ordered the Suzuki in A,E,D,G and F keys! The C costs less than $60 on Amazon, a pretty reasonable experiment that might revitalize your harp playing!

Considered the best tremolo harmonica, the Suzuki Humming Tremolo 21 C is great for anyone
Tremolo harmonicas are despised by several harmonica specialists. As a non-specialist, I wanted to try one. In my country, Brazil, there is a lot of popular music made for the accordion, and beautifully adaptable to the harmonica. The few tremolo specialists consider the Suzuki Humming Tremolo 21 C the best one, so I went for it. They were right: the sound is amazing. It's easy to play and "sounds like music" even in the most harmonica-naive hands.

wonderful find
i love this harmonica! it almost plays itself! if you can play a scale on a piano, you can play this instrument. the tone is fantastic, it is sturdy and beautifully made. this harmonica plays melodies in a 3 octive range so you are able to play any song imaginable without changing to another harmonica for a different key. i sit by the campfire and play request from friends; this is perfect for playing old favorites as well as contemporary tunes. well worth the cost, i have enjoyed this purchase every day since i recieved it. yes, i love this buy!

Beautiful sound
This and the SU-21-C-C2 Timer Tremolo by Suzuki are basically the same harmonica. It is a wonderfully sweet harmonica to listen to, and play. If you have never played one of these, I highly recommend them. Of course, they have their place in the music that we play, and are not for every style of music. This is especially good for slower, more thoughtful music, hymns, etc. It plays well with the piano and other stringed instruments. I can heartily recommend this harmonica to others.
