A Must-Have for New CPAP Users!
As a new CPAP user, I was overwhelmed by all the cleaning recommendations and products out there. I wanted something simple, effective, and safe—and CleanSmart CPAP Disinfectant Spray has been a game-changer! It’s incredibly easy to use: just spray it on your mask, tubing, or humidifier chamber and let it air dry. No rinsing, no scrubbing, and no harsh chemical smells. I love that it kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses using hypochlorous acid, which is gentle yet powerful. I’ve noticed fewer sinus issues since I started using it regularly, and my equipment always feels fresh and clean. Bonus points for being non-toxic and safe for sensitive skin. I even bought the travel-size version for when I’m on the go. If you’re just starting out with CPAP therapy and want a hassle-free way to keep your gear clean, I highly recommend this spray!

Love this disinfectant for CPAP
I love this disinfectant! I use it on my CPAP equipment. My mask has memory foam it’s very hard to clean. I just spray this on it and the rest of my mask. I use it in my dehumidifier container and a lot other places. It does not degrade my memory foam. I almost didn’t buy it because I read a review that it smells like bleach. I absolutely does NOT. It has almost no smell at all. I have found other uses around my home. Try it it’s such a time saver. 1/1/26 update I read reviews complaint of problems with the sprayer. I have been using this for over a month and never had a problem. The directions are simple and the sprayer worked great. This is my go to product.

Easy to use and love that it degrades to water after use in a short time.
Love this. Easy to use and love that the disinfectant degrades to water in a short time - thus leaving me with a clean and safe mask. Simple spray it in the morning and use it at night. Can’t get easier than that. The bottle has a close/lock sprayer. The only thing I wonder - and can not know unless I get it tested - is that if it degrades to water on the surface - how does it not degrade in the bottle. I bought the 2 pack and keep one in the bathroom and one by the cpap machine itself.

Product is great, no complaints. Packaging though, needs work
As in title the disinfectant itself works great -- spray in a couple of pumps in your AirFit nose pillow hose and manifold, then one in each nostril pillow. Even when swabbing with purpose-made CPAP swabs thru same, the slight smell that used to be there betw. scrubs soap/water, is gone. Proves swabs (using 1% phenoxyethanol) aren't always the most thorough way to sanitise your CPAP equipment. Was attracted to the fact hypochlorous acid is used by your own body's tissues to defend against pathogens, plus degrades into harmless saline solution and water. So given the latter claim, was curious to see if it was true, or just hail-Mary marketing as many such products can be on Amazon. As above, this actually does what it says in the ad copy -- brilliant. But one problem that somewhat tarnished this product for me, esp since I'll be reordering it regularly: the spray nozzle is laughably poor at what it's expected to do. Spray pattern is very weak, but that locking mechanism behind the trigger -- who green-lit this design? Where is 'spray' and where is 'lock'? Can only find either by fumbling with the 'selector' a few seconds -- no marking, only vague click detents... why is this used? Not to mention several other users here have commented their bottle arriving damaged -- well not surprised there, this looks a preemie version of an actual spray nozzle, and has no cap to survive being tossed like footballs by your local overworked, frustrated last-mile parcel carrier. So love the product. Dislike the spray nozzle nonsense enough to dock it a star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ _

Good Product.
Works as expected. Slight problem determining how to unlock the bottle’s trigger. Knurled lock on the tube has to be turned counter clockwise to open (“Lefty loosey”). No obvious instructions. Probably needed to read some fine print on the bottle?

Buyer regret: Not for inside CPAP mask, cushion, hose or water reservoir
Buyer beware! The CleanSmart CPAP Disinfectant Spray is only for external surfaces of your CPAP equipment (mask exterior, hose exterior, humidifier exterior). The manufacturer’s instructions, product label, and most reviews confirm it is not intended for the inside of the mask cushion or any internal components (tubing, water chamber). The active ingredient (hypochlorous acid) is safe for external disinfection but could be harmful or ineffective if used inside the mask where you breathe. Some reviews mention spraying the inside of the mask, but this is not recommended by the manufacturer and may void warranties or damage components.
