Does this transfer the foil direct to the card, or do you cut out the design and then glue it to the cardstock?

It should apply directly to the card once the design is drawn by the glue pen. Once it’s done, and without removing the carrier mat, place the foil over the design, and replace the glue pen with the burnishing tool. The tool will then apply to foil to your design directly on your card. Hope that helps.

Yes, this kit is compatible with the CM250 machine.

Can I use my personally created designs, or am I limited to the designs provided with the kit?

You can create and transfer your own designs to use the CAFTKIT1 Foil Kit.

Is it compatible with the CM350 machine?

The Brother ScanNCut Foil Kit is compatible with the ScanNCut DX model machines.
