High quality rice. Very delicious.
Wow.. what a delicious product! Made a delicate mushroom risotto dish with this carnaroli, and was very easy to digest. Not excessively heavy, but still filling. If you’re picky with what kind of rice you use for your risotto, this one’s for you.

If you are making risotto, use this rice!
Love this carnaroli rice. It makes the best creamy risotto. We wouldn't use any other type of rice for our risotto dishes. It is a good price, the product is great, cooks like any other risotto rice but has a creamier texture.

Risotto rice good flavor, long lasting
The rice has a good flavor for Risotto making. It was sort of expensive so we are making Risotto sparingly. We could not find the rice in our local store so ordered it here. It is good rice. The expiration date was for next year, so it will be long lasting on the shelf.

The better risotto rice!
We eat a stupid amount of risotto. So when I ran out of the usual rice I decided to branch out and try different varieties. This was the first on the list to try and it's wonderful! The package arrived in time to have dinner so we cleared off the meal plan for it. An excellent decision! Made exactly the same way as usual, it came out with a nicer flavor and just all around better cooking than my preferred arborio rice brand. My only complaint is that the box is a bit small, making 1 cup dry rice was a full half of the box. I will be buying it again despite the box size and I look forward to trying it a second time with different flavors added (first was a little lemon and parm, 10/10). The other reviewers aren't kidding, this stuff is great!

You'll NEVER go back to arborio rice for risotto
A half a package of this will easily feed six as the first serving after soup. In most other respects I prepared this the same way I would if I were using arborio rice (caramelizing onions in butter and toasting the rice before adding stock). The key difference is this rice absorbed a good thirty or more percent of stock, and was fully cooked in two thirds the time of arborio rice. That surprised me - the cooking time and the amount of stock this rice grain type absorbed was unlike any other rice type I've ever used. If you prepare risotto, this is the rice to use. It is a bit more expensive than arborio rice, but the creaminess and texture, and the faster preparation time truly set it apart.

Better than regular arborio
This makes creamy, soft risotto so I prefer this much more than standard arborio rice. This is a great value for carnaroli rice compared to the prices I have seen at local Italian markets.

The best risotto rice you can't find in store.
I have used a couple other types to make risotto, this was the best type by far.
