Mattel Monster High Frights, Camera, Action! Black Carpet Lagoona Blue Doll

Lagoona Blue, Daughter of the Sea Monster, is striking in her black carpet look in this new Frights, Camera, Action! budget doll. She usually has blue streaks in her hair, but in this version her streaks are much more prominent and a brighter Caribbean blue than her usual shade. Lagoona’s make-up is also bolder than usual with dark burgundy lips and very bright pink eye shadow. Lagoona has a fantastic black headdress featuring a chambered nautilus. Her shoes are light pink with a swirled shell heel, open toes, multiple strands of pink pearls, with one large accent black pearl. Lagoona’s dress is in shades of pink, black and silver, and the top of her dress is in a pattern of these colors. Her dress has additional tiers of metallic pink and black cut in a scalloped scale, and has wide metallic silver straps at her shoulders. Lagoona’s other accessories are a black jellyfish purse and a blue statement necklace of shells and pearls. (Please note: my doll has a blue necklace, not the black necklace shown in the promotional photo) This version of Lagoona is a budget Monster High doll, so does not come with a hairbrush, stand or diary. Like all Monster High dolls, she has multiple points of articulation at her joints and is highly posable. Lagoona is a fashion doll and is made for collecting and gentle play, but care should be taken as she can be fragile and has leg fins that can be lost.

Lagoon a is a drop dead gorgeous doll. Her shoes are just a little hard to come of but they are amazing and, the heels are corals! Her dress is beautiful mixture of bold colors. The doll I got had weird feeling hair but her hair is fabulously curly! Her necklace is actually green and her headband actually stays on my doll. The purse handle was broken when I got it. :( Her leg fins can come off. Her makeup is to die for. When you get this doll you'll be glad you did!!!

The product was exactly as expected and arrived on time. The only thing was the glue seepage which is expected for any monster high doll. Amazing overall.

good doll. will buy again. most reasonably priced doll. no scalpers here. freaky fashionable fish doll. hair good for play.

Had a good bunch of glue on the back of her head but it’s fine though that’s the only thing wrong when I got her

When I received this doll she had some sort of goo in her hair. As well as a nasty knot swirl that I have seen before on a MH doll. I was hoping that a quick wash with baby shampoo would fix it, but the residue remains. She also has the mold numbers on her forearms still :/ I am returning the doll and hoping that a new one won't have the hair goo at the very least. I will update rating if things improve

I love this doll. Monster High... Lights, Camera, Action, Lagoona Blue. She's so beautiful and sexy. The package is irregular ... but who cares... excellent addition to my collection. I recommend this doll to anybody that loves beautiful dolls!!! She has great hair, her face is perfect, as is her body... and her dress is too!!! She's 11.5" tall. Very sexy pose. Great line of dolls ... I wish I could own them all, but this one is my favorite so far... I also have Franie Stein too.

We bought this as a Christmas gift for our 7 year-old niece. Our niece lives in a wealthy city four hours drive away from us. (AKA: We don't see them very often or run in their circles.) Thus, we decided to select a Monster High doll that was a bit more sophisticated and classy, and one you do not see in every local store... just in case she loves Monster High dolls like we do (to avoid a duplicate). We were very pleased with her. She's still Monster High through and through, but designed in a way that I think ANY child would love her! :)
