Works great for our Koi pond with bog and waterfall
Very reliable pump. Works great for our Koi pond. We always keep an extra one on standby. They tend to last 1-2 years with 24/7 use

Best Water Feature Pump You Can Buy
Went through several other brand pumps before splurging on this Little Giant. Would have save time and money if I had just gone with the best small pump maker there is. This thing works great in our outdoor water feature.

Little Giant WGP-80-GPH water pump
Little Giant WGP-80-GPH water pump I choose this pump because it was the right size for my pond and the price was reasonable. Amazon makes ordering online a pleasure. I want to thank you so much for your quick response. The first time ordering this pump it lasted over 5 years and did a wonderful job. After it finally went bad I ordered another pump, same kind but for some reason I noticed it made a noise and it seemed like the flow wasn't as great as the first one. I went ahead and used the pump and it lasted less than a year. I called amazon told them my problem . The pump was in warranty, I told them to ship me another one which they did in 2 days. I thought I had a bad problem when That pump went out but amazon made it so simple for me. I didn't have my proof of purchase so I was worried I was going to have to purchase another. Amazon had all the information needed and they were so nice and took my word that my pump was bad and shipped another in two days. Couldn't have went any better. Thank You, Robert Whetstone

Second one in 12 years
My first one lasted around 12 years and in fact it is still going but it starts to squeal when the water drops low. So I got a new one for back up. I must say it seems a bit louder than the older one but once submerged it is not very noticeable. This thing pumps like a beast and has two outputs to boot. I have it running a small waterfall and I had to regulate the flow to slow it down a bit. I just removed the plug on the other output and that toned it down a bit. Nice long cord and a thermal breaker make this a no brainer. Can be ran horizontal or vertical with no issue. I also got it in sale so watch for that. Only strange thing is that the data tag states "indoor use only" not sure why.

Pump is running strong, even though pieces of it were shattered
The pump works perfectly in my small pond--I am replacing an identical pump the previous owner of our house left us and this arrived (after some confusion by USPS), in OK shape. The box was beat up and dirty, and the pump was dusty inside the box. It still appears new. The pump also comes with an extra plastic piece that was shattered. Luckily, I did not need this piece so I am not returning the item, but I shouldn't be receiving broken items when I buy something new. Overall, this pump seems tough and powerful and I'm excited to use it, hopefully for 3-5 years!

I purchased mine in September 2015 and today it stopped working. This was my third pump in the past 11 years It has been making lots of noise underwater these past few weeks. Took it out of the filter bag and could not see anything wrong with it. Unfortunately, there is very little competition of its kind on the market right now, which means I will have to buy yet another one.

Very impressive pump.
I put this pump into service about 2 months ago so I cannot speak for its lifespan yet. I bought this pump because I was drawn to the dual discharge feature. I attached two home-built adjustable manifolds and this pump now supplies water to six 1 inch hoses. 3500 GPM is a lot of water and I dont doubt that it is flowing every bit of that to my pondless rock fountain. I'm impressed. I would buy another and I would recommend this pump to others. And with Amazon Prime, I thought the price was pretty darn awesome too.

The first time I bought this pump it lasted 3 1/2 years, the second pump lasted 38 days
This was my second Little Giant WGP-80-PW 3500 GPM pump. My first pump lasted 3 1/2 years of continuous pumping. It lasted longer than the manufactures guarantee of 3-years. I was happy with a life of 3 1/2 years, and willing to buy the same pump again. Even though the pump currently had many mixed reviews, I bought the identical model...After-all my own experience with my first pump was positive. I should have paid more attention to the growing list of negative reviews. The replacement didn't do as well as the original, lasting only 38 days, which is 8-days over Amazon's return period. I have not yet decided on a replacement pump, but it will certainly not be another Little Giant. The cost to install the replacement for the faulty pump, is over twice the cost of the new pump. A replacement Pump will cost another $199.00, but installing it will add $425 more. 3-years ago Little Giant made a reliable pump, but not anymore. Even if they replace the pump (I haven’t yet heard back from Little Giant about their 3-year guarantee), I'll still be $425 in the hole. Honestly, even if they do replace the pump, I’ll just use it in another application where installation is not expensive. I’m not going to go through the expense of installing a pump of questionable reliability, over and over again. I think Little Giant has lost the recipe for reliability. Don't buy this pump!

Works perfectly as described, with the dual outlets we have one to our waterfall's and the other to a fountain in the pond, works great and our pond now looks perfect again. I would buy again if we ever need an additional pump.

C'est une pompe pour notre étang. Je voulais la même que celle que j'avais avant. Elle est très performante et facile d'installation.

Very happy with it overall. Especially for the price. My only comment/wish was a few more connection options to tie into my pond plumbing. Would purchase again at the same price
