These fermentation lids are so cute, I like the color very much! And it is easy to use, I use it to cover the mason jars and screw the airtight-seal, just let it ferment and no need to open it again, because it has a hole on top, which will vent gas automatically, so the water level is maintained, and will not cause jar explosion or bent lids.

Fun colors and helpful for fermenting
Love these! I’ve been fermenting for a while but often struggle with ‘burping’ items so that pressure doesn’t build up. I love the cute colors on these! Even better they keep bugs and debris out of my ferments but allow gas to escape so I don’t end up with mason jars exploding. I have one on my SCOBY Hotel, and another on my sauerkraut jar. They add some nice pops of color to my kitchen, too!

Nifty money and time saver
These a a great time and money saver. They're easy to use, just place one over the mouth of the jar, then secure/seal it with a band, and done. Saves time and a little money since there's no need to remove(&replace) the lid in order to release pressure. They're easily cleaned and ready to reuse as well.

Love the different colors
