Much better than the adapter plug style
I had a 30to20 amp plug adapter and it put a ton of strain on my outlet. It worked but wasn't the best. Now I keep it as a backup.This "dog bone" works wonderfully. It feels very thick and sturdy. It's bright yellow and easy to spot and the handle really helps for removing the plugs. It's the perfect length and takes all the strain off the outlet.Fantastic value for the money. Actually not even sure how they can afford to sell 100% pure copper for this cheap.. but glade they do get it while they stay this cheap!
