I love this thing!!! Seriously the best, I hate tampons so much with the plastic applicator pollution, the carcinogens loaded into them, the price and so many more reasons, but this cup is the best thing I've bought in a while. A little hard to remove at first, definitely necessary to pop the seal with your finger before trying to wiggle it out, but I got the hang of it after two or three times. I wasn't sure if it would last all day with a heavy flow, but it absolutely did with no leaks at all! Also, removing it while full wasn't nearly as scary as I expected haha. It's also very comfortable. I don't feel it at all, although I did experience some cramping the first few days while I adjusted to it, but it's totally fine now. This might be a little too far out there for some people and that's okay haha, but the cup is also excellent for collecting your menstrual blood which is extremely powerful and healing, so that you can use it for assisting manifestation! You can mix it with water and pour it in your garden and your plants will THRIVE and grow 10x faster, it's crazy! I swear the colors are brighter :). I highly recommend this for all women to at least try. It may not be for you, but it's at least worth a shot.

I was very iffy about these cups in general - I didn't know what they were made out of, if they would leach anything in me, if the colored ones were safe... BUT i was open to the idea of them. So one day I was looking at posts in a Zero waste group on facebook and someone posts something about this moon cup. So I checked it out and it seemed to be what i was looking for if i were to get one - it wasnt colored like other cups out there and it seems to be the best/safest quality material out there. there are two sizes out there "A" is for over age 30 and/or if you have given birth vaginally. "B" is if you are under 30 and have not given birth vaginally. I'm not exactly sure what the difference is but I am 25, and i have given birth vaginally BUT I am also 5ft 100lbs so I decided to go with B anyway. I got it a few weeks back and I got to try it out last week. I definitely love that I have a Zero waste menstrual cycle saves me money and the planet for a win-win! So it fits good and I could barely feel it. my only issue is when trying to take it out. I have to figure out how to get it out without it getting suctioned. i guess its common with all these cups.. I'm sure I'll find a method with more use. but otherwise I am very satisfied with this product!

I bought this without doing any research. Mistake. It turns out I have a high cervix and this poor little cup gets lost and I can only remove it by yanking hard on the stem -- not good. It's also too firm for me. Or... in some other way conspicuous and uncomfortable. Just feels like too much pressure in an area that's already feeling sore and bloated in the first place. My biggest complaint is that the stem (which, because of my particular anatomy I can't cut off (and indeed it could be longer still) is too hard and rigid. I don't know for sure that it's scraping up my insides when I'm wearing it but the anxiety that it is is enough to limit my moving and bending. And ultimately, I've given up on this cup for the reasons mentioned. It's a fine product though. Certainly quality. But, fellow menstruators, it's time consuming and difficult, but, do some research and investigate your body a bit. These cups are pretty expensive to keep buying the wrong one. (I'm about to try a third one. The Lily was better for me but I have all new problems with that one, alas.) Good luck.

Menstrual cups have always struck me as unappealing, but for no good reason; there's nothing appealing about pads or tampons, either (especially their price and waste they generate). So I finally decided that I needed to give one a shot. After reading enough descriptions, reviews, and comparisons for the different menstrual cups available (to the point that my head spun), I finally decided that the Mooncup (UK) was my best option for a first cup. I am over 30 and have never given birth, and I went with the A size, in accordance with the manufacturer's sizing guidelines, and it took about 1 week for delivery to the east coast of the US. It arrived just a few days before the start of my next period, so I did not have to wait long to try it. Absolutely amazing device! It is not as difficult to use as much of what you read may read about menstrual cups may lead you to believe. The directions that come with this cup are very clear, informative, and easy to understand/follow. Folding and inserting the cup is simple as its soft, but not mush, and doesn't tend to spring out of your hand. It's also easy to grip wet or dry. The trick is to be patient and take your time, especially if you never used anything like it before (I had not). It's likely that you will need to trim the stem to ensure your comfort; I trimmed mine twice before I got it where it needed to be. You'll know you've gotten the correct length when you insert the cup and cannot even tell it's there. It seals easily and checking the seal is simple and quick, too. After about 2 full days of use, I felt confident and competent at it, and after that it just got quicker each time. I wore while sleeping, swimming, hiking, canoeing, doing yard work, cooking, and loafing around. I never had it leak nor experienced any discomfort. It's easy to clean and maintain, and at this point, I'll probably buy a second one for when I'm going to be somewhere that water to rinse/clean it with isn't right at hand.

Ce produit est parfait. Je suis l'une d'entre celles qui ne veulent plus utiliser autre chose que ça. La tige il faut couper à la longeur qui ne gène pas, ni trop court. L'insertion facile, comme à l'enlèvement. Le premier jour de règles étant le plus lourd, il faut vider à la demi journée; sinon après ça fait facilement une journée tranquille. Même la nuit. On ne sens rien! C'est confortable pour cette raison. C'est une excellente solution pour ne pas polluer les égouts avec du coton, ou l'environement avec des applicateurs en plastique... et surtout meilleur pour préserver la flore vaginale. Ca sera une solution merveilleuse pour les femmes à la rue qui ne peuvent pas se payer tous les mois des serviettes ou tampax. Imaginez aussi les femmes dans les pays en voie de développement... Ce produit, je le crie haut et fort, est formidable!!!

Tenía mis dudas, la verdad, porque no sabía qué tal iba a ser utilizarla, pero después de usarla una vez puedo decir que la recomiendo. No he probado otras marcas, así que no puedo comparar. Parece de buena calidad, para mí es cómodo y la verdad es que es un ahorro. Edito: Después de meses usándola puedo decir que estoy encantada. Primero, por olvidarte de si tienes o no tampones o compresas. Segundo, no notas que la llevas puesta, cosa que sí me pasaba con los tampones. Te terminas acostumbrando a ponerla y sacarla y se vuelve tan sencillo como un tampón. El truco para sacarla es pellizcarla con los dedos para que deje de hacer vacío dentro, y una vez que ya esté casi fuera, intentar doblarla un poco para que no moleste al salir. Suena más complicado de lo que es. El único inconveniente que le veo es el tener que usarlo en baños públicos, porque al sacarla hay que vaciarla y limpiarla un poco (aunque esto último en las instrucciones indican que no es necesario si por alguna razón no tienes acceso a un lavabo, con que lo hagas la siguiente vez que la cambies será suficiente). Yo la he llevado 8 horas y no se ha llenado, aunque eso supongo que dependerá de cada chica. Lo dicho, un gran invento :)

è stata una meravigliosa scoperta, di quelle che cambiano la vita. e non sto esagerando! ero davvero stufa di tutti i fastidi degli assorbenti, diventati per me insopportabili. ora non mi sembra nemmeno di avere il ciclo. Mi trovo molto bene con questa coppetta: l’inserimento è semplice (ovvio che ci voglia un minimo di pratica), l’espulsione anche; è morbida e si adegua bene alle pareti una volta in sede. il mio flusso è piuttosto abbondante nei primi due giorni, durante i quali la coppetta si riempie fino alla seconda tacca in circa 7 ore e mezza; perfetta tenuta notturna. La lavo con acqua e sapone intimo durante i giorni di utilizzo; ho comprato anche la scatoletta in silicone per lavarla nel caso non abbia a disposizione un bidet. La consiglierei davvero a tutte, sottolineando che è fondamentale la confidenza con il proprio corpo.

Ich habe die Größe B bestellt, da ich 21 bin und keine Kinder habe. Kann diesen Artikel nur jedem weiterempfehlen! War anfangs ziemlich skeptisch, was glaube ich bei so ziemlich jedem (vor allen jüngeren Mädchen) der Fall ist, man gewöhnt sich aber super schnell dran. Obwohl sie meiner Ansicht nach ziemlich groß aussieht (im Vergleich zu Tampons), spürt man sie gar nicht. Auch das Einsetzen tut nicht weh und ist auch nicht unangenehm genauso wie das Rausholen, habe wirklich große Bedenken gehabt. Man muss sich keine Sorgen beim Ausgehen machen z.B. ob man eben auf Toilette was wechseln muss. Ich blute eigentlich sehr strak und muss die Mooncup trotzdem nie tagsüber entleeren. Doch der aller größte Vorteil ist für mich, dass sie nichts austrocknet und somit die Flora nicht stört, wodurch ich nach dem Gebrauch von Tampons auf Grund meiner sowieso sehr schlechten Flora oftmals einen Pilz bekommen habe. Seit der Mooncup hatte ich keinen einzigen, benutze sie nun seit 5 Monaten. Ob das Silikon nun hart oder weich ist kann ich nicht sagen, da ich keine andere Tasse zum Vergleich habe, ich kann nur sagen, dass ich es bei der Mooncup für mich perfekt ist. Die Investition ist es wirklich wert. Ich habe mich übrigens für die Mooncup entschieden, da sie vegan ist und viele gemeinnützigen Organisationen und Projekte unterstützt. Außerdem tut man etwas für die Umwelt, auch wenn man sie mit Tampons, Slipeinlagen und co während der Periode kombiniert. Insgesamt für mich ein wirklich tolles Produkt, das nicht nur was für Ökos und Hippies ist.

Ich benutze die original Mooncups seit mehr als 10 Jahren und kann mir nichts anderes mehr vorstellen. Das Material ist deutlich fester als bei anderen Anbietern, was dafür sorgt, dass sie wirklich dicht ist. Ich selbst bin Mitte dreißig, verhüte mit der Kupferkette und habe bereits entbunden. Ich habe einige negative Bewertungen gelesen, die leider größtenteils auf Anwenderfehler zurückzuführen sind. Menstruationstassen sind nur dann schmerzhaft oder unangenehm drückend, wenn sie nicht korrekt sitzen, also nicht tief genug eingeführt wurden. Dann hat man das Gefühl sie rutschen raus, manchmal sticht und zieht es wegen dem Unterdruck an der falschen Stelle oder man hat ständig das Gefühl urinieren zu müssen (ähnlich wie bei einer Blasenentzündung). Wenn sie korrekt eingeführt und positioniert wurde drückt, rutscht und schmerzt nichts. Dann läuft auch nichts daneben und man hat auch kein Blut an den Händler bei der Entnahme (wenn das passiert, weiß man auch sofort, dass man sie nicht korrekt eingesetzt hat). Die Stärke der Periode schwankt natürlich von Frau zu Frau. Bei mir würde sogar an den stärkeren Tagen einmal leeren reichen (was aber nicht empfehlenswert ist, wegen des TSS Risikos). Menstruationstassen sind absolut genial, man muss aber über ein gewisses Körper- und motorisches Feingefühl verfügen, um sie korrekt anzuwenden. Sie muss direkt vor dem Gebärmutterhals sitzen, nicht am Scheideneingang. Nach dem Einsetzen einmal mit dem Finger prüfen, ob sie gleichmäßig ausgedehnt ist (korrekter Sitz!) oder ob sie leicht eingebeult ist (nicht korrekt weil schmerzhaft und undicht). Man kann zum leichteren Einführen auch etwas Gleitgel verwenden. Es ist wirklich keine Raketenwissenschaft und tausend mal angenehmer, diskreter und günstiger als Binden, Tampons etc. Ich schwöre auf die Mooncups und hoffe, dass sie irgendwann eine Menstruationsscheibe in der gleichen Qualität auf den Markt bringen (die kann nämlich auch während der Zweisamkeit eingesetzt bleiben).
