Definitely helps me sleep, although the pills do have a strong, funky smell. I noticed my dreams are a little weirder than normal when I take this, but I'd rather have weird dreams than no sleep at all. I frequently suffer from insomnia, and I find this is a much better alternative to prescription and OTC sleep aids.

This is the best valerian. I've tried many. It's the extract and the amount of it that makes the difference. I had been using a different brand that contained valerian extract that helped me fall asleep, but it was too much and I would wake up with a hangover the next day, even when using only 1/3 a tablet. With this valerian 1 pill and I'm dozing off as I read within 40 minutes, sleep through the night, and wake up clear-headed consistently. I take 1 pill along with tryptophan peptides and 3mg melatonin.

I take this three times a day for my anxiety. It keeps me clear headed all day. It does make me slightly drowsy but not enough to cause issues throughout the day. It has helped with my insomnia at night, which was surprising. It’s doesn’t work like a sleeping pill that makes you feel like you just can’t stay awake, but it allows your body to relax and drift off naturally. Sleeping pills always make me groggy the next day, while these never have.

These are good to help you fall asleep, but not stay asleep. I take 2 but typically wake up about 4 hours after falling asleep.

This product is very nice. It work very well helped me sleep like a baby. Despite the smell being unpleasant, it kept me very calm and relaxed after one day of taking. I reccomend this product and will definitely be repurchasing.

I’m so desperate for sleep and I read from a credible source that valerian root in a 4:1 concentration is the only way it is effective for sleep, but at this concentration it is extremely sleep inducing. I read the reviews that said the smell of these is so bad they have to store the bottle inside a sealed plastic bag. So I found this and ordered it anyway. I can’t handle the odor. It is nauseating. I’m going to throw the whole bottle away with the plastic bag I put it in. The smell reminds me of the hallway outside of a ballet studio where dancers leave their shoes. The smell gets in the extremely low pile industrial carpet and no amount of industrial steam cleaning and chemical scrubbing can alleviate the smell of an area subject to that. It is truly similar to stinky feet and or moldy cheese. The two nights I tried to get the pills down, I had to wash my hands immediately to get the stink off. And my sleep was worse those two nights than my already terrible pattern. There’s no way I could manage to get 100-200 mg of these in me. That would be 4-8 caps. It was all I could do not to vomit after two.

I’ve tried so many brands and this is very potent! Remember, read up on extract prior to buying. This product relaxes the nerves and anxiety. Definitely a great value for the number of pills.
