I’ve installed 2 of these on my motorhome and love them. They were easy to install, but you need a 2nd person to assist when sliding the awning into the holder that you’ve attached to the RV. Each awning took me about 1+ hours & I found the instructions east to follow. The awnings provide shade on a sunny day and allow you to have windows open if it rains. Carefree makes great products.

Easy install provides adequate shade. Does help to reduce heat in the camper. Just find the center of your window market with erasable marker find the center of your upper bracket put a piece of 3 1/4 inch trim across your window as a guide for the upper bracket put sealer on the bracket screw it in. Put heavy duty double sided 3M red sticky tape on the arm mounting platt move the awning to its proper location press on bracket put in the screw. It’s literally that simple. You will need two people to install this awning. I went with two awnings, because one of them was only $69 Use like new the other one was full price to $217. Watch a video before installing. Note: When installing the arm, you have to put one screw in the center, then open the awning to put in the rest of the screws.

I ordered about a month ego, working well, keep the sun away from my window, but the string is to short to thighs down. I heave to buy a hook with long handle too pull it down. I wish the plastic shade made with ticker material, when is getting very windy, I need close it, I’m afraid the wind rips it out.

I like it, provides shade and cooler on the windows.

I have ordered three of these, the first one was missing screws and pull strap catch, the second one was missing well not missing it came with black awing and white brackets so I returned them, the third one is missing the screws and pull strap catch again. Thank goodness I kept the pull strap catch from the second one. So be careful in ordering this product.

I ordered 2 of these awnings. 90% of the required screws and the swing strap catch were kissing from both boxes. They are of acceptable quality otherwise but would suggest you custom order from carefree. Get exactly what you want for a bit more money.

The 1st one we ordered was perfect and easy to install. The 2nd one came with the wrong color arms and did not match so we had to return and reorder, but when it came it to was perfect. So we had a hiccup but all turned out well!

Awning package was missing several screws and more importantly the strap hook that holds the awning open was missing. This is a costly item to have to buy separately. Material is very thin and stretches easily.
