Hardware House 544676 Bristol 13-by-11-Inch 2-Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Fixture with Brushed-Nickel Finish and Alabaster-Glass Shade

This is a wonderful looking light and the quality seems really nice! It hasn't been installed yet, but if there are any problems I will come back and report. I was very impressed when this light arrived yesterday. Even the packaging is great! The styrafoam is molded to fit the glass shade exactly and there's a piece that is molded to fit inside the glass shade. At first I thought the shade had cracks in it, but it's actually made to look like old glass with swirls in it. I was in a store the other day where most of the lights displayed were $1,000 and up. Way up. This light could be among those lights with a $1,000 price tag and it wouldn't have looked out of place. Not that I would have paid that much for it, but I wouldn't have bought any of those overpriced lights. There were lights there that looked like they were worth thousands of dollars, but those were spectacular and weren't among the ones like this one that most sane people would put in their bathrooms, hallways, or laundry rooms. So, if you want a ceiling light that's in style in every way, but not expensive in any way, this fits the ticket. My ticket anyway.

I use this light as a hallway light. It looks great and because it's open, it brightens any area very well. I use daylight lights.

This attractive light arrived well-packaged, with all parts/pieces as needed. It was installed in a hallway, and I am pleased with how it looks. The installation was a bit tricky, however. The instructions were pretty generic, not really specific to this light. The "diagrams" were drawn and the parts were not well-labeled. The plate that covers the electric box in the ceiling just barely covers the box - so if this is a replacement for an existing light, it may not cover the same area.

Beautiful and with the right light bulbs, very bright. My husband didn't like these when he first saw them. And, he thought they were a pain to install. But once he figured out how to get one installed, the second went up wit ease. After installing, he knew why I bought them...they are beautiful! Works well in our hallway!

I bought three of these and they look gorgeous in our hallway and give off a lot of light. Great price. Easy to install.

I bought this as the overhead light for a bright, airy guest room, and love the way it looks in there. I had my electrician install it, so I can't comment on how easy that process was, but I can comment on the result. The alabaster shade is beautifully swirled and the silver-ish supports are a nice accent. I had it installed on a fairly high ceiling so the decorative knobs on the support aren't too visible, and I'm so pleased with the over-all effect.

This is just one of several matching pieces I purchased. Was able to do a complete lighting package for a remodel. Bought this for foyer and I think it was the best looking piece of all. For the money, these were a great deal. Beautiful, with reasonably good quality. Would have been impossible to find bargain fixtures like these at Lowe's or Home Depot. Seller also has a ceiling fan with a light kit that is a great match for the other pieces.

This light is nice, and it looks wider in person than what I gathered from the pictures. Good finishes and gives off plenty of light for the hallway where I have it mounted. The instructions definitely leave something to be desired, though. The English directions are basically one 8.5x11" sheet of paper front and back, and they cover installing all 7 or so fixtures in the series. So you get a lot of "if it looks like this, then do this." Not terribly helpful, especially when there are about 10 small nuts, washers and screws. Fortunately, there is also an explosion diagram of this actual fixture included in the box, and you can deduce what you're supposed to do from the drawing. Since I already know how to make the electrical connections, I ended up setting aside the written directions and just using the diagram to put the thing together.

a little on the pricey side, but installed nicely and looks great. 2- 60 watt bulbs installed and it lights up the area nicely.

Ordered a new lamp only to have a package that had clearly been opened sent to me. Parts missing, so cannot install and the light shade arrived shattered. Not worth the money.
