Great hair color
The hair color I’ve used for the past 15 years. It works great. Covers up my grays. Love the color

A good buy. $2 less than salkys.
The real deal, wella does dry out hair some. Use sallys or pro store additives like bond or olaplex properly to help. Colors perfect. I buy these over and over.

Beautiful Color
I have been using this color, along with the Light Copper shade to dye my hair for over a year now. This is actually the first time I've stuck with a color for that long. I really like Wella products and definitely recommend them.

Good Quality Hair Color
I love this hair color brand. This turned out a little more purple than I was expecting it to, but my hair tends to pull a reddish hue anytime I color my hair. Still love the way it turned out.

Dark pigment, but a beautiful shade of dark auburn with a hint of spicy red in there 🌶️
This color seems to run out quickly and I got many compliments on this color as my skin is a cool tone. However, I am such a golden brown girl and have been for years and years that this color, although striking, is too much change for me. But I used it on myself and apparently my features pop more and I used it on my mom and she loved it! No wonder they run out of this color. I'd say give it a try especially if you're trying to get rid of too much blonde and get your hair back to looking healthier (it'll take some time to fade from the pigment) and use clarifying shampoo if you want it to fade and it's too much.

Pleasantly surprised - great product but chose a lighter shade
First time using Wella colour and I am very pleased with the results. Reading reviews before buying I opted for a lighter shade than what I normally would use and the colour came out perfect. I mixed 1.5oz of 5RG Light Auburn and 0.5 oz of 6R Red Terra Cotta with 20 developer and the coulour came out as beautiful chocolate brown with a hint of red (my natural hair colour is dark brown with plenty of grey). Excellent grey coverage! Was a little freaked out when applied because it turned so dark almost black while processing but washed out great, no stained skin and no bleeding into the towel after a thorough rinse and conditioning. The brands I used previously not only stain the towels but also pillow cases until two washes after. So, no stains was a great bonus. And I didn't think I was going to like the liquid consistency but it's actually so much easier to apply and saturate the hair.

Great product works well blended with other shades to make my perfect color
I have been using wella products for years. I am a former hairdresser so I have been doing my own color all these years. I like wella color charm because it delivers a great natural looking color. I use 1 Oz 20 strength Creme developer, with 2/3’s 8RG/729 Titan Red Blonde and last third I divide equally with 4/N 411 medium brown and 5RG/ 445 5 light auburn to achieve the color shown. After I colored my whole head of hair the first time, I only color the new grown in roots from there on. I leave on for 25 minutes. I find that when people color their hair this auburn color at home or rather any red color, it tends to look fake using this one product unless the natural hair is on the dark side. If it’s over white or gray, blonde, well, definitely doesn’t read well. With the medium brown added to it, it tones down the fake look. I’m 68 for reference and yes I do wear makeup and have good skin. But I think because of my realistic looking color and below my shoulder length hairstyle people think I’m around 55 thereabouts. I will color my hair as my mom did until I can’t and she did till she passed at 80. Anyway, great products and so easy to get on Amazon and even cheaper with auto replenish.

A great product and for the price, how can you go wrong! I was a little skeptical when the packaging changed, however, I find the product is better. The red shines through more! This is my go to color.

Best hair dye in the world! And if you like jet black with red over tones, you'll love Black Cherry, I have used nothing else for the past 30 years.

My natural hair shade is a level 8, light ash blonde (Wella Illumina 8.1 is exactly my natural colour). I *was* colouring it burgundy for a fun change, but getting frustrated because it was either too purple, too red, or just not enough brunette in it. I love Wella as a brand, and their Colour Charm permanent line, especially the reds are superior; but only if you *aren’t* a natural light blonde. Unfortunately. I was specifically doing my regrowth, but near the end of the processing time, I brought it down into my mids and ends to keep it even. I have found the red shades in the Colour Charm line don’t fade easily and rinse clear on wash day; my bath tub never looked like a crime scene and it saved my towels. It stuck well to my mids and ends…but not my roots. The colour would *not* stick to my regrowth. After the first application, when I rinsed and dried it, I noticed you could still see my roots—they were kinda tinted brown, but you could still see it was regrowth and that blonde was under it. Then, not even two weeks later they were back to my level 8 blonde. It was as if I hadn’t coloured it at all. (Should be noted due to my hair type, I only wash my hair twice a week; and because it was red at the time, I had colour safe salon quality products and used cool water). After looking into it, for this particular burgundy shade that seems to be an issue; other natural blondes have complained about the very same. So, I wish I had looked a bit further into it. It ended up being super frustrating because the rest of my hair was perfect—this frustration led to me removing all the previous colour from my hair and going back to my natural level 8 ash blonde :( (And yes, my hair is perfectly healthy after doing that because I did it over four weeks, not all at once lol). So, it *is* a fantastic product; but just not for my specific needs as a level 8 blonde. 3 stars.
