10/10
I actually came across this stuff because I’m obsessed with the show, ‘Life below zero’, and I saw that they were using bear fat to waterproof their boots. And well I figured if it works in the tundra, it’ll work in Wisconsin. I touched up the toes of my Columbia boots and did full coverage on my CAT boots. The leather on my work boots soaked this in FAST. I’m going to add another layer. Very easy application, no smell, and you’ll get several uses out of the 3oz can. It did make my boots a bit darker, but not only are they waterproof, they look healthy and ready to get back to work 🙂

It works well.
I had purchased a new set of leather gloves and wanted to protect them and my hands from getting wet while out in the woods working and camping. I coated the gloves in the Grizzly grease thick and then took a hair dryer to them til dry. I did this three times using 2/3rds of the grease. After they where dry I put one glove on and held my hand under the bathroom faucet full blast for 1 minute rotating my hand to try and soak the glove. No water came threw at all and the coating gave the gloves a nice darker finish which looks good. I figure putting on a new coat every season should keep my gloves conditioned and good to go for a while, few years. Now after drying them with the hair dryer I did let them sit for 24 hours before I did my water test and I made sure to soak all the seams in the gloves well with the grease so there would not be any leaks. I don't mind my hands getting a bit damp but wet when it cold out side does not work for me. Great stuff, worked well for me.

Works
Works ok, last for a short bit and easy to put on. Wears off pretty easy in the dry dirt and dust.

Interesting and Effective
Right off the bat (will later update as appropriate in the future), this stuff is interesting. Did my walking shoes with a tad delivered via toothbrush and fingers. Waiting for absorption. Will attempt to roughly evaluate the product "water-proofness" qualities soon. Now looking good in terms of water-proofing after 2 successively applied layers on pair of black leather walking shoes. Mink oils get really gamy over time - like smelling something perhaps long passed. My ancient small tub of rancid mink oil finally hit the trash can, and this (75 year old NOT mink oil composition trade secret formula) is concise and feels easy to apply and appropriate. Very little odor from Grizzly grease at all. (For me) relatively local (in the PNW, USA) manufacturer worthy of supporting. (Roughly) comparable pricing per unit weight as mink oil products. Review Update: Having noted sufficient waterproofing of my NB leather shoes following a few easy to apply applications of JobSite Grizzly Grease, I am upgrading my product rating from 3-stars to 4-stars.

GREAT!
This stuff is amazing! I used mink oil for years on my leather boots, leather tool bags, leather belt tool holders you name it I got in in leather. Point i'm trying to make is that this stuff stains less then mink oil but provides pretty darn good water proofing! I'd say apply at least every season to keep heavy use items like boots water proof. No harsh smells with this stuff and really can't find any cons to it other then maybe it doesn't last as long as some other things but at this price point don't matter much if I gotta replace it a bit more. Also like how you apply it and let it soak in and dry and you don't have to do much else and my leathers still look nice with no smears or what not after it dries. Rant done its worth it give it a shot it won't hurt your pocket book much and if you don't like it meh go back to mink oil! :P

It's good stuff
I was looking for something to keep my work boots from drying out and looking rough, Grizzly Grease is easy to use, I used an old brush to apply it and an old toothbrush to get around the boots at the sole line. This stuff is awesome, put it on, let it dry, repeat if needed. I recommend it to anyone that wears leather work boots.
