Sun-Glo Silicone Shuffleboard Spray

I purchased a shuffleboard table secondhand, did not know much about it. Could not tell if it is silicone or varnish layer. But it was getting a bit loud and rough when playing. Decided to research how to make the shuffleboard table, more smooth, and less loud. Found out to use silicone spray once a month or after every 10 gains. I removed all of the silicone beads using a Shuffleboard brush. Then I used Dawn just a couple drops and a lot of water in a spray bottle to clean off the table surface. I let it completely dry for a couple of hours. And then sprayed the silicone spray and started buffing by hand as I went down the table. I did this twice. And then put the silicone beads on again. Significant improvement in sound and smoothness of the plan surface. Next time I plan to use a car polish buffer to do the buffing for me. I will also try to keep this up on a regular basis as it does seem to improve the playing experience.

Works well

I have two shuffleboards and I've never used this product before but I wanted to give it a try. I was having problems with the sand/wax getting bunched up under pucks or sweeping away after a bit of play. Now I know that this is just normal gameplay, but this product virtually eliminates the problems. The board now plays incredibly smooth and even. Tracking of sand is hugely reduced and the pucks glide so much better over the surface. Would recommend this to anyone looking to improve the play of the board, I'm not sure how many times I'll need to reapply it, the can says every 10-15 games. That seems like a reasonable time, but I think it'll last longer. You really don't need to use very much to make a difference. The only downside is the shipping price, and the smell. It stinks for a little while after application so apply well before play. It also doesn't say how long it takes until you should put sand on it. I waited about 10 minutes and applied the sand, it seemed right. Good product, will buy this stuff again. Can't go back to playing without it now.

I recurved my package in a timely manner. The spray is very simple to use. I sprayed down my shuffleboard table and this stuff really works. My sand stays put.

It did what it said it would do and the dust stayed in place so the puck rolled smoothly and so much quicker along!

It’s silicone spray. But advertising is very misleading. Picture shows 2 cans, description does say one can. Read carefully. Not such a good deal when you realize it’s one can, not two.

This product worked very nicely and improved my table's surface as advertised.

I put it on my shuffleboard but it seems to take a long time to dry.
