Simple and Effective Mount works well.
I am using this wall mount to hold a 23" Asus computer monitor. Right out of the box I was very impressed by the quality of the mount. The articulating arms are thick aluminum castings and the pivot points are cone shaped which is a great design for a hinge that needs to be locked in place or move with some resistance. The monitor mount fit the threaded holes in the Asus monitor holes perfectly as per the standard, The screws that hold the X brace to the arm were a tad loose and needed to be tightened. The wall mount was attached to a 1/2" sheet rock wall using 9/16" toggle bolts (I didn't use the plastic anchors that come with it, as I was afraid they would pull loose from the sheet rock.) The toggle bolts are just a dollar or two at Depot/Lowes and give the piece of mind that the whole unit won't come crashing down if the kids pull on it. The mount also came with a small bubble level which came in handy when marking the holes on the wall. I extended the arm out to the side flush to the wall and set the bubble level on it to ensure the arm was horizontal and the screen would sit level. Worked great! After attaching the monitor I noticed that the arm was binding when the knobs were tightened to be snug but not lock the pivot points. So I took it apart and put a dab of grease on each cone hinge and reassembled. Now when the knobs are just snug, the arm moves smoothly with a nice amount of resistance. When the knobs are tightened more, the hinges will lock in place. I even put some grease on the tilt hinge to make it move smooth. I was hesitant because I was afraid the screen would tend to fall forward and not lock in place, but that did not happen. The tilt knob is tight, and the screen can be tilted forward and back and it holds it position. The power cord and video cable were attached to the arm with tie wraps for a nice neat look.Even though I give it 5 stars, I have these criticisms:- It came with anchors, but toggle bolts would have been better.- The 4 screws you can see in the picture of the X bracket were not fully tight. I had to disassemble it all after installing to tighten them because the screen rocked side to side a bit.- Had to disassemble it all again to add grease so it would move smoothly and not bind.Other than that, it works as it should. It is solid and does not wobble or sag. It is made heavy duty enough to handle home use. The toggle bolts hold it solid to the sheetrock. Would have preferred to screw it into a stud, but I had no choice as there was no stud within a few inches of where I wanted to mount this. All in all, it gets a thumbs up. And for the price, you can't really go wrong.

I made it work
I got this mount to originally put a 32" tv on. I figured since the tv only weighed 17 lbs, the mount would be fine since it's rated capacity was 33 lbs. After getting the tv home and realizing it was a little to small for our game room, I took it back and exchanged it for a 40'". The mount was already on it's way so I figured I'd give it a try. I fabricated a bracket that mounted to the tv, drilled that out and attached it to the wall mount. It worked but the tilt mechanism of the wall mount didn't seem quite strong enough to keep the 40" tv from slipping down. As I tightened the knob with a pair of pliers I felt that familiar feeling of it stripping out. As it turned out, the metal screw mating surfaces didn't strip out, it was just the plastic knob that was slipping on the bolt. I removed the plastic piece and sacrificed a pair of vice grips to replace the plastic piece. It worked great. Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the plastic piece failing. After tightening with the vice grips this little mount is working great on a tv much larger than it's rated for.If you're going to get this mount for a bigger tv than it's designed for, you should be good at fabricating and improvising. The mounting bracket with this wall mount kit is pretty narrow at only 200 mm from bolt to bolt. I've got to give to this little beast. Aside from the plastic covers on the bolts being poorly attached, it's pretty rugged. It's holding a 40" for us and it's not going to let go of the tv.

Gets the job done, but only just so.
Classic case of "you get what you pay for." This piece was to be had at a very reasonable price, and I had no other place to put my TV in my small room except for on the wall -- and in an awkward spot, at that. So I needed to get an articulating mount. (TV mounted is a Vizio 30" LCD, bought new in '08-'09.)The good: As mentioned, the price. Also, it was very straightforward to install, although it looks like the instructions were not written by a native speaker of English. It comes with all hardware needed to mount into wood studs or masonry. It fits as advertised, and my TV is probably up on the top end of the capabilities of this mount. It also is quite low-profile and good for tight or awkward spaces. Additionally, it hasn't fallen off the wall yet, which is about all I can ask for.The bad: It's a little flimsy. When extended any appreciable amount, it's got a good amount of bend to it...enough to where I had to mount the TV a little crooked to counter the effect. There are knobs which can be screwed in to tighten or loosen each joint, and you really have to loosen them to move the thing into position, and tighten them hard to keep it there. I had to take a pair of pliers to torque the one that controls the pitch of the screen because the weight of the television made it droop and point towards the floor.Overall, I would have liked something that seemed a bit more secure, but so far I haven't had any problems. It does the job I need it to do, and for the price I paid it's okay. (I had an Amazon gift card help me out with purchase.) If I had to buy a second one, I would probably try Wal-Mart -- they have ones for similar prices, with the added bonus of a return policy.

Top Notch Cust Service
I bought this in 2020, and it has functioned beautifully for 2 years. I had to take it down and re-hang, and was not able to do so (a part must have gone missing). Customer service tried to help via email, and when they could not, they sent a replacement at no cost. THAT is what I call impressive customer service! Would defintley reccomend the product and the company!

Works fine BUT…
The wall mount works fine and is sturdy and relatively easy to install. In my situation, I had to install it into a concrete wall and had a handyman with the appropriate tools secure the mounting bracket. I'm giving this such a low rating because, despite the good construction and despite taking care to mount the bracket so it was square and level, the wall mount isn't square/level. My monitor, when positioned directly in front of me, has a horrible tilt to the side. I have made it bearable by closing the wall mount so the screen is over to the side rather than centred in front of me. Unfortunately, it is no easy task to uninstall the mounting bracket and then adjust it when mounting it on concrete, so I am going to have to live with the poor angle of my monitor. Lesson learned. By a mounting unit that permits full range of motion. This only permits lateral positioning.

Amazingly fast delivery - sturdy - does the job well
Amazon's deliver of these units was amazingly fast. I ordered them and had it the very next day.I amusing these to wall mount my 2 flat panel monitors, for my computer. One is 27" and the other 28". I was concerned that it would not work, as the 28" is an older model, and quite heavy. Fortunately, the mounts' have worked perfectly. For such a large and heavy monitor, I did have to tighten the pivot with a wrench (not enough to break it, but much tighter than just your finger tightening). Were I to purchase mounts again, I would definitely want a third arm - to provide even more flexibility. Also, it would be HUGELY useful to have the ability to have some up-down adjustment capability. However, for JUST $20 each - these mount brackets/arms are fantastic. They are very sturdy. I have complete confidence in the, and have not given it a second thought since mounting them.Great mounts. Great quality. Great Price. Great Buy!

I've purchased three, Worth the money.
I purchased three mounts and have used two for a dual 19" portrait side by side office setup. I did not use the supplied hardware as it came with a cement anchor and a short screw. I installed into dry wall with the heavy duty self drilling anchors for each screw does not move at all. I would have installed them directly into studs but the location would not allow for the even dual installation. As for the mount itself was very easy to install the arms and pivots, I've tightened the pivot points by had until all the slack was taken out and the monitors no longer sag. However if they are moved a lot then I suggest snugging them up often or you will notice the arms with sag. The third monitor will be installed with a 28" monitor when I get time but with the simplicity of the arms and installation I foresee no concerns.

Good value overall
Good value for the price. After having this for a few years the joints definitely wear down and I find I can't tighten it enough to reliably keep the monitor in place. The knob on the back of the monitor mount itself is also too close so it's hard to get a good position to torque it if it needs to be tightened.

Great wall mount.
When ups delivered a box to me I was wondering where the lcd mount was. When the parcel was opened I found a box 7inx8in. The lcd wall mound was in there and was very impressed by the quality of this unit. It came folded up in box and came with all the machine screws for panel and wood screws for mounting it to wall. They really shouldnt include plastic wall anchors, which could be used if installing into concrete but NOT drywall. I screwed directly into a wall stud. The unit extends out aprox. 16inches and panel can be tilted down, I have a 22in monitor mounted over a 24in. Works great and very impressed with a wall mount for $22
