Outstanding Customer Service & Excellent Blinds
I ordered 3 sets of the Yoolax motorized blinds with remote, Blackout smart blinds motorized roller shades for our Master Bedroom, Living & Dining room. At first I only placed an order for the master bedroom by itself to see how they were. Delivery was fast and it took about a week. I setup the window blinds in the master bedroom and everything worked out well. Setup was easy and the blinds looked good.So we ordered 2 more matching sets (1 for the living room & 1 for the dining room). Once again shipping took about a week and they were both shipped together. (Did I mention they gave me a discount for ordering more than 1 set). I setup the living room blinds and they worked well and matched the good looks of the master bedroom blinds.Now the last window blinds were for the dining room. Setup was easy once again, however when the blinds fully opened I noticed there were 3 noticeable spots/stains on the window blinds fabric. I tried to wash out the spots/stains with cleaning solution and vinegar but I could not get the spots/stains out. I emailed Yoolax customer service to inquire how I can ship these back and get a replacement. Yoolax responded quickly (within 24 hours) and informed me that they would replace the blinds for free and ship it to me for free.Yoolax was great and their customer service was great as well. Any questions I had they would email me the answer within 24 hours.With 3 separate blinds I wanted them all to connect to the 1 remote control (Lightwirl - 60229) Instructions were confusing but this is how I finally figured out how to make 1 remote control connect to 3 different window blinds:Smart Shades Manual [58612] Remote Control -Motor Programming [Page 12]Enter Setting Mode1. Hold “P1” for 5 secondsGreen light flashing indicates setting mode2. Choose the channel you want to set from “1-9”For example #1 should remain green (on) while the rest of the numbers are not green (off)***Note: It will exit setting mode if hold “P1” for 5 seconds again or no operation for 3 minutes***Next Step:Re-Pair the motor [Page 19]1. Hold for 2 seconds——Blind jogs x 1 (up/down)2. Press “P2” x 1—Blind jogs x 2 (up/down/up/down)3. Press “P1” x 1——Setup complete now repeat for the other separate blinds.Overall, Yoolax has provided me with “Great” customer service and the 3 window blinds are great so far. There is also a 1 year warranty on the motor & battery.Lastly, I forgot to mention that I ordered the optional solar panel [60304] for each window blinds. So far the battery strength have been showing 100% full charged but I’ve only had these window blinds for the summer months so I am not sure how they will function during winter time. But I did connect the usb-c extension cord and strung it down the wall to the window still and if I do need to charge the battery I can just hook up a portable power bank to the usb-c cord.

Buy it!
The media could not be loaded. Had these installed for a few months now and I love it! We have a huge window in our kitchen and before, I had to climb on the counter just to open our blinds. This was an absolute game changer. If your blinds are too long, you can adjust the length of where you want it to stop on the Yoolax app. Cons: Bluetooth connection doesn’t reach far enough and blinds were cut a bit too short on the side.

Exact measurements won’t work.
I previously bought and rated this item (1 star) and I am here for an update. I gave in exact measurements as stated for the inside mount. Didn’t fit. The item itself is absolutely beautiful and heavy duty and well made. I totally loved it but like I said it didn’t fit. I contacted customer service (Amazon) I was completely refunded.Seller did good by me.

Wish I could give it a 10. Beautiful color, easy to install for husband. Came earlier than expected. Only con, unable to set up with Alexa but we think it's user error 😁. Thi us our 3rd one.

1. Measurements are within 1/16" of what I asked for.2. Installation is a breeze (Don't overthink it)3. Extremely light weight, could probably install with just double sided tape.4. Helpful programming videos on YouTube if needed.5. What I ordered works with controller or the phone app.They even email you for confirmation of exact order and measurements before shipping. Best part is everyone that I have ordered has come almost 2 weeks BEFORE the estimated date.

Continually loses connection with Alexa
UPDATE 4 (12/6/2020): I DEEPLY REGRET THIS PURCHASE!I've had these blinds for 4 months now and it's been nothing but a headache! They lose connection to the zigbee network multiple times per week (sometimes even multiple times per day). I've tried different Zigbee hubs to see if that would make things better, but it's always the same... My house is only 1,650 sq ft, and when the devices are connected they appear to have strong connections, but there's something just wrong with the motors and their zigbee radios... They never seem to hold their connection. There's nothing more irritating than wanting to close your shades and instead having to spend 5 minutes reconnecting the shade...---Original Review:I was really looking forward to getting motorized shades that I could automate and control with Alexa and after exploring my options these had good reviews at a very reasonable cost. The ordering experience was great and after submitting my order Yoolax reached out to me to confirm my measurements. The shades arrived a full month earlier than estimated, which was awesome.Now the not so great part:- My shades have repeated lost connection (basically once a week) with Alexa and stop responding to voice commands and schedules- The valence on the shade makes it look like an old high-school projector screen (1st photo)- One of my shades had two 4 inch slices in it (4th photo)- Yoolax has to take 1-2 inches out of the width of the fabric portion of the shade to make room for the motor or something. They made me aware of this during the confirmation phase and I didn't think it would be an issue, but it totally is. The shades now leave 1/8 inch of the window visible on both sides and it looks bad and lets in quite a bit of light. (2nd and 3rd photo)UPDATE 1: After reaching out to Yoolax about the slice in the shade they offered to send replacement fabric. We'll see how that goes.UPDATE 2: (Aug 20 2020) Yoolax no longer had the fabric that I originally ordered and so they've offered a different fabric to replace the sliced one as well as a replacement for the matching window. Going to add a star for the support that they offered. (Going from 2 to 3)UPDATE 3: (Sept 1 2020) Yoolax sent me a replacement shade, moving the motor to the new shade was easy enough and the new fabric looks good. On another note, all of my shade continue to lose connection with Alexa which is a huge pain since re-connecting requires pressing a button on the motor which is well out of reach. Going to move this issue to the top of my cons list because it's so frustrating.
