My New Favorite Gloves and That Means Something
These Ironclad Heavys are my new favorite gloves. I'm very picky, so this says a lot. I used to like the Mechanix Impact gloves, but they changed the design long ago to one that was essentially designed to fail at the area near the base of the thumb. I loved those gloves, and was very disappointed at the short life. I continued to wear what I had for the years following until I was desperate for replacement. Fast Forward to a few months ago, my last pair of M gloves were just done in. I had to get some new ones. I ordered a couple of different gloves from CLC and this pair from Ironclad, and have been wearing them for various general use and work projects. The standouts of the bunch are these Heavy Utility Gloves from Ironclad. The CLC gloves are okay, but these Ironclads seem better thought out with fit and design placement of abrasion materials in the palm and fingers. I love the use of synthetics in the build, making them extremely durable and washable, compared to leather and suede. I think suede in wear/stress areas in work gloves is a huge mistake. Suede seems to wear poorly, and tears like paper. Also, with the Ironclads being synthetic, I just toss 'em into the washer with the work clothes, put 'em on wet, make a fist a few times, push on to fingers/webbing to shape/stretch/conform, take off by the fingertips, and hang to dry. These things are amazingly comfortable, though do take a little time to break in. They offer pretty good dexterity for a "heavy duty" work glove. They get more comfortable with every use. I look forward to my jobs for the opportunity to wear my gloves. They offer refinement of the process, same as the pleasure of working with quality tools. Working with rough cut lumber and other potentially hand damaging materials with confidence, no worries for splinters or pinches. Great help against fatigue. Ordering a couple pair as backups. Ironclad is my go-to from now on for work gloves. Long may the quality continue!

If it does not fit, you must acquit. I could not help myself.
Okay, first time using Ironclad gloves. This is for warehouse receiving, truck unloading, merchandise sorting, handling nasty sprintered wood pallets and all sorts of chinese made crap. In the past I've used Mechanix and Husky from Home Depot. Husky gloves are not designed to handle this type of work. Mechanix fit well, and seem to last a reasonable amount of time. Decided to try Ironclad because reviews state they outlast Mechanix. Wore these gloves for the first time last night. First impression... very stiff and possibly too tight. Could barely pick up a pencil and hold it properly to write on a manifest. Also- Some sort of sharp seam, inside near the base of the index finger where multiple pieces of material come together. Noticed it in both gloves and was not pleased. Decided to give these a chance, break them in and see how they felt. I'm happy to report after 4 hours of truck unload, they gloves had already started to "break in" and feel really comfortable. After 8 hours I could handle a pencil much better and the sharp seams and stiff leather were supple and not an issue. I should state, these gloves appear to be well made. Lot's of reinforced leather or synthetic leather at key contact points on the palms and fingers. Certain amount of knuckle protection (TPC) and breathable material on the backs of the fingers. These appear to be serious work gloves. I will update this review as the weeks go by , I'm hoping to get a few good months out of these.

A REALLY good work glove!
The Ironclad Heavy Utility Work Glove (HUG), are VERY solid work gloves, especially for what I do (gardening). I think they are better than the other work gloves I've bought in the past from Ironclad (The ranchworx RWG2), which, maybe because of the work that I do, seem to fray and wear out quicker than the HUG utility gloves. It took a little time for me to get a little comfortable with them, they sort of felt stiff on my hands to start, but after a while, they start to relax and flex better. There (so far), are no problems with abrasion OR fraying of stitching, the velcro clasps across the wrists that act as straps to keep the gloves in place do the trick, although they can be a little tricky to unclasp when they are BRAND new, but, after a short time with usage, they will be able to clasp/un-clasp with more speed. They are also washable, and when they come out of the laundry, they look brand new. All in all, a very good pair of work gloves (they also have, on the back of each thumb, a terry cloth sweat wipe). Made in Indonesia, for some additional information for you. Hope this review was helpful to all!

I'm not one to give off bad reviews lightly. In this case I just have to. Gloves looked good enough as a lot of effort is put into logos and details, unfortunately this is what they look like after 3 days of heavy use, the leathery parts dont survive strain and the sticthing is close to falling apart. I needed them for a two month stint, at this rate I'll destroy one pair per week. Someone clearly has to rethink what they consider hard/tough work.

A great pair of gloves. They have lasted for months and are still going strong. I am impressed with the build quality. Sure, over time they acquire some wear and tear but I have yet to get a hole. I will definitely be buying these again.

I'm a tree surgeon. And these gloves are by far the best I've had. Comfy, grippy, tough, but even after all that you can still tie knots and fiddle with small clips relatively easily.

No son los guantes que he comprado, son menos robustos que los que vienen en la foto. Una estafa
