This is fantastic! Bought it for my mom for her bday as she has carpal tunnel and is also is 70 so she struggles opening things. We tried it immediately to make sure it was easy for her to use. It fits a variety of different jars and is perfect for her. Works very well. Takes 2 AA batteries and then ur up and running. This will be so helpful for her. She opened the jar with not one problem by herself making her feel better cause she hates asking people for help. I would absolutely recommend this. I also got her an electric bottle opener lol

It works great! Just sometimes it goes crooked as it's opening. Unfortunately mine just got broken. The outside gripper broke off because it got so crooked while I was using it. I meditately released the button but it wouldn't stop! That was just a rare accident! I bought 2 of them! One was over a year ago for Mom & 1 for me last Dec. Mom and I use it at least once a day or more.

My husband (who usually opened jars and bottles I had trouble with) recently passed away. This product does the job perfectly...and easily which is greatly appreciated. It hasn't...yet...met a top it can't handle!

This product works beautifully on smaller jars. Smaller jars you can first break the seal to facilitate opening.On a large mason jar it was too big and tight for the opener, so it stopped as it should have. Then I was able to remove the opener without damage.However a large jar of applesauce that has the thin plastic below the cap, the opener started to slip and slide. But this time it did not stop and I couldn’t turn it off. There is no stop/off button. It continued slipping on the jar and then one of the outside gripping arms of the opener just snapped completely off. Now the opener is not usable.
