This book has no pictures of whst your making. I purchased this as a gift for a beginner. Not a book for a beginner

I was so excited to receiving this book of summer patterns! However, I became VERY disappointed in that there were NO PICTURES to accompany the patterns! How are you supposed to crochet something that you only know by a description? Only 3 pictures to show how to make a foundation chain and a foundation double crochet. I would think if the book only has 60 patterns with no pictures of completed projects, one would already know how to create a foundation chain by now. Again, very disappointing - I wanted to return it as I no longer can use it, but I would need to PAY shipping back in order to return it - isn't it enough I paid almost ten dollars for this? The author could at least mentioned there were no picture of projects or even inserted a sheet of paper with completed projects. Makes me wonder if this is just a collection someone had of other people's project/patterns and not their own. Very disappointed.

The book is well made and it is obvious a great deal of time went into these patterns, however, there is not a single picture for any of the designs! This is absolutely useless in this form. I'm very dismayed.
