This is an incredibly beautiful and diversified mostly instrumental album. A must have for electric guitar fans. There are some tunes featuring the prodigious Jason Becker playing before he came down with ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Although now paralyzed, he still composes with the use of technology and his music is majestic, passionate and uplifting. To perform his compositions he has vocalists and symphonic strings as well as some of the best guitarists around. Contributing guitarists include Steve Hunter, Steve Vai, Greg Howe, Marty Friedman, Joe Satriani and Michael Lee Firkins. These monumental artists do a wonderful job conveying the soulfullness of these compositions. Every number is a gem. A very impressive album.

Jason Becker has a new album, with some kind of "best of" compilation plus three new songs. Also the CD has a bonus material if you play it on a computer.Jason Becker is a true master. With all the bad things he is going through, a new release is a victory over the destiny and a new example of his incredible talent.Two more things: Jason is an example of the will for life and music like no other, and, by the way, he's still better musician and player than you and me.Thank you Jason. Thank you for teaching us how to live the life and for the everyday inspiration.

Becker is a legend. His music is as beautiful as his passion. Amazing playing, writing, musicianship.

After watching his documentary on Netflix recently I thought I would purchase some of Jason Becker's work. I was not disappointed. What a truly gifted young man an inspiration to the rest of us humans.

I bought this item for my thirteen year old grandson, he is a budding guitarist himself and he would love to emulate this great artist.

Very interesting. Not for dancing but to listen to Jason's adaptability, and creativity. Iam a fan and plan on collecting the other music he has made.

Jason spicca sui chitarristi virtuosi del genere neoclassico, perché unisce, alla tecnica sopraffina, un gusto per la melodia non comune: non è "soltanto" uno shredder, direi piuttosto che è, innanzitutto, un ottimo compositore.Se penso che ha debuttato discograficamente a 16 anni e che ha fatto uscire il suo primo album solista a 18, mi corrono i brividi lungo la schiena... quando appresi la notizia che la SLA gli aveva impedito di proseguire quella carriera ormai avviata verso l'Olimpo, ci rimasi molto male. Sebbene i medici gli diedero pochi anni di vita, è ancora tra noi e anche questo rende un'idea della sua straordinarietà. Dopo ormai trent'anni di ascolti dei suoi lavori, consiglio la collezione a chi vuole almeno farsi un'idea di questo Talento Unico. Grazie Jason.

Questo cd racchiude tutta la mostruosa tecnica e abilità chitarristica e la passione per la musica dell'irrangiubile ma sfortunatissimo Jason Becker...un disco monumentale! La sua capacità e abilità chitarristica è davvero impressionante...soprattutto considerata l'età che aveva quando ha composto questi brani. Pezzi come "Altitudes", "Images" ecc.. lasciano veramente senza parole. (peccato solo non aver incluso nella raccolta anche il brano "Perpetual Burn"). Consigliatissimo a tutti gli amanti della musica in generale, perchè il suo stile accontenta tutti (dal metallaro al bluesman).

Muy buen recopilatorio de Jason Becker, en el vienen temas de su etapa inical con Cacophony con Marty Friedman, tambien como guitarrista solista con su disco en solitario Perpetual Burn y finalmente como compositor en su discos posteriores. Era un guitarrista virtuoso hasta que una terrible enfermedad truncó su carrera, pero luego ha demostrado que su evolución personal y coraje está a un nivel que muy pocas personas pueden alcanzar.

consiglio questo cd per i chitarristi e non,fantastico...dalla prima all'ultima canzone.UN CAPOLAVORO DEL GRANDE JASON BECKER,EMOZIONANTE,COME TUTTI I SUOI CD.il pacco e' arrivato prima della data prevista.superconsigliatooo:)sicuramente prendero' altri cd!!!

on est là en présence d'un " best of " d'un guitariste qui était condamné à une immense carrière et qui se trouve aujourd'hui condamné à finir ses jours dans son fauteuil avec comme seul lien avec les autres le mouvement de ses yeux ( putain de sclérose !!! ) Il nous reste une oeuvre intense dans un métal néoclassique à posséder absolument. Il a commencé sa carrière avec notre ami Marty Friedman, mais n'a pas eu la chance d'avoir le même destin. Je regrette juste l'absence d'un titre de l'album " Perspective " -Blue-
