I used these for a public art project where ethnically mixed neighborhood kids made self-portraits that are becoming part of the art. The are the perfect size, and it was nice to have a selection kids could choose from that would come close to how they see their own skin color. These would be great in any classroom, and helps give kids a head-start if they don't have great drawing skills.

Using these to make VBS faces

My students used these face shapes to create self portraits for our open house. They loved that they were able to choose the color that best matched their own skin color. We used eyeball stickers, yarn, and paint to create our portraits. My students loved this activity. I plan to use these again and would recommend them for purchase.
