These pencil extenders are fairly priced and get the job done.

Yes, many of the reviews aren't wrong and the metal portions on many of these do come off the wooden handles too easily, That being said, if you have some very basic items, you can make these pencil extenders surprisingly nice. The metal coming off of the handles can be fixed by a small dab of super-glue. The wooden handles themselves can be made nicer and smoother by coating them in mineral oil and even lightly sanding the bottoms of the handles to make them smoother. Should you have to do this stuff in the first place? Probably not, but honestly what do you expect? These are obviously mass-produced in china, and aren't made out of the best materials. It's kind of silly to expect the best quality in this price-range. But, 10 minutes of work and I'm sure these can last for years to come.

It's hard to take off once put on, otherwise fine

These are pretty good pencil extenders. Not good for longer pencils. If you use one it just falls out.

Not big enough to hold Derwent lightfast or Faber Castell polychromos. But works on my prismacolor and that makes me happy.

Works great can be removed from pencil with out opening so be careful

Some of these don't even hold pencils, the pencils are just loose in them or fall out. Most of them fall apart and will need to be glued back together to function at all, *if* they even hold pencils. Out of twelve, maybe half held pencils. Out of those six, three fell apart. So really you're purchasing maybe six pencil lengtheners that will work and at least half of those will need to be repaired to function. On top of that, they aren't even particularly comfortable.I didn't have high expectations. I knew they were cheap and likely would have issues, but this is beyond anything I expected. I would much rather pay more money and get pencil lengtheners that are comfortable and work correctly. I shouldn't have to repair a product until I've been using it for years.

If you do a lot of coloring these are a must have. It doesn't matter if you are a professional artist or just enjoy adult coloring books like I do. Once you pencils get small these are great to give you a full size pencil feel. You get a good number of them to use for multiple pencils at a time. Only complaint is each extender is individually wrapped.

J'adore ce produit, il est léger, agréable, rien besoin de dévisser, ça va plus vite. Sur des crayons dimension type prismacolor, cependant vous pouvez aussi régler le petit bout metal, pour mettre un crayon un peu plus gros, type polychromos, mais cela va légèrement endommager le crayons. Je n'ai vu aucun morceau de métal se détacher ou être cassé comme l'indique certain commentaire. De plus je remercie vivement le vendeur pour son emballage très soigne. A godsend for my wife whose hobby is colouring and these give the colourist the ability to use the expensive pencils almost completely. They hold even quite a small pencil stub about three centimetres long firmly enough for the sometimes quite intensive blending. For the adult colourist these are an absolute must. Highly recommended!
