Nitro Eclipse Golf Balls

Please understand that these are NOT high-priced, tour-caliber balls. These are not a $35/dz ball. Here is what they are: a soft feeling, low-compression 2pc ball with good durability and they are totally different looking than what you have been playing, however they do add a unique aspect to anyone's game. The two-tone cover allows for great in-flight visibility (great contrast, but it does give the optical illusion of a wobbly ball flight). Where I thought these balls excelled was for the short game. Not only did I get them to hold greens on iron shots, but the two-tone allowed for great feedback on green-side spin and putting.If you can get past them being a little weird at 1st, I suspect you will enjoy playing this ball and I'd even bet that you would look forward to playing Round-2 with them. I shot 7-over using the same ball the 1st time out...

These are pretty good golf balls, depending on the price. They probably aren't worth $20 per dozen though.Those that are saying they are 'two part' golf balls, that doesn't seem to be the case (or at least not anymore). A careful inspection shows that the ball is solid, its core is painted in two halves (you can see the paint line), and then the ball is covered in a clear textured shell, which is about how all golf balls are made (minus the transparent outer shell, usually being solid color on other golf balls).So, I don't see how the golf ball can fly apart in flight, unless this was a problem with earlier versions of them.

I use these while putting. I line up the color change as a sight line. When you putt them on a flat surface, if you hit them square and the balls rolls straight you can see it while the ball is rolling. If the colors start wobbling then you know you did t hit it square

Originally purchased for putting practice to watch ball alignment. Works decently well for that. But these are crazy soft so the feel off the putter is way off. So I decided I'd use them as 3par water balls, but the ball flight is pretty bad.

I thought these were different but drove my friends crazy. They kind of make You dizzy as they are rolling along the green to the hole. Wouldn’t buy again. They were fun for a few days.

I love these balls!! I don't know what the reviews are talking about, saying ball split in half, mine don't and I am hitting them 300+ yards every time! Nice feel and very long ball, will buy again!

They are cool looking! But they are rocks. They feel hard off every club and don't stop on the green. I will take these out when I have a hole with a blind shot because they are easy to find. I also like to practice chipping with them because you do get some feedback about spin. They are also great for lining up putts.

These golf balls were perfect! They hit well, and were easy to locate.

the reactions of my friends at the tee when I pulled out one of these was worth the purchase,not very expensive, but lots of comments and while they aren't the longest flying, they are easy to track through the air and into the rough which is where they landed several times.The only one that didn't make the trip home after was the one I used to try and clear a pond that was wider than I thought and I wasn't going diving to find it.
