3D Sunglasses Red/blue

Therefore they do not work for 98 percent of 3D clips on YouTube. Of course the clips all mix up red/blue and red/cyan, but almost ALL of the time they are really red/blue. Red/cyan glasses are virtually useless for this. WAIT!! It says red/cyan on the DVD box! So I *must* need red/cyan glasses. WRONG! Most of the time a program claiming to be red/cyan encoded is really red/blue.You only have to look at how light the cyan lens looks compared to a photographic filter that is *really* a good medium blue and you'll know without even trying them on a program. Cyan is more like sky blue; real blue has less green in it is more like an ocean blue.Look, these glasses are well-made, but unless you have a program you are CERTAIN is red/cyan, they will be useless to you. Don't trust what is says on the DVD case. Everybody mixes these up and so very likely do they.Ironically, if these glasses had been correctly described as red/cyan, I might still have bought them and rated them four stars for quality of construction and fit. IF I needed a pair of red/cyan. Honestly, I think a very very large majority of people won't be able to use them for viewing 3D material that is actually out there.

I bought the shark boy an lava girl 2D/3D version and decide the kids would get a kick out of these. They are the most durable but for the price it was good. If you are looking for the 3D picture at the moves with their glasses type of deal, then this is not for you. The kids (3 y/o 5y/o had a ball putting on their "3D" glasses, so it was well worth it. You could not tell them they were not apart of the movie.

These are pretty darn sturdy. They arrived pretty quickly. I bought them a while ago and they're still like new. The lenses seem to like being dirty, but they're not top-of-the-line quality glass or anything. It's hardly a hindrance.They don't quite match the Minecraft 3d color settings, if that's why you're buying them - they do work on the game though; you'll just see slight red ghosts.

i got the glasses in good time but opened them up and they were not the sunglasses in the picture they looked more like the 3d glasses from the movie theater just with red and blue lenses. the reason i bought them is because they had the sunglasses style so im really disappointed so if your getting them for the style keep it pushin and you will find cheaper ones that probably look the same or better

bought it for experimenting with anaglyphic 3d and to not look like a dufus doing it.it works and was for penniesuncomfotableonly reason im writing a review is cause im bulk reviewing for all my amazon purchases in last year

As a Homestuck cosplayer whose patron troll is Sollux Captor, I felt obligated to put together a Sollux cosplay,,, These were the best and cheapest red/blue 3-D glasses I found, and I absolutely love them. I wear them for more than just my Sollux cosplay, and it gives me a completely different view of the world, which as an experimental photographer I love to discover different ways of seeing things.

When I put them on it kinda just made things a sort of shade of purple. Hard to focus. Didn't really make anything pop out at me or anything.
