Skechers Performance On-The-Go 600 - Monarch Sandal

I LOVE these shoes! I use them as house shoes/slippers. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis (autoimmune disease that affects ALL my joints from the neck down, plus organs and other issues like severe pain ect), fibromyalgia, plantar facitis and neuropathy in my feet. One of my issues from the fibromyalgia is being extremely heat sensitive and having issues with feeling extremely hot (like someone turned on a furnace in me) even in air conditioning sometimes. I usually wear slippers in the house because we don't wear shoes in the house and have all hardwood & ceramic floors which can be painful for my feet, other joints and back. Unfortunately, even opened toed slippers were adding to my overheating, especially during a particular bad bout since summer started. I decided to take a look on Amazon and came across these slide sandals! I already own three pair of Sketchers Go Walk shoes and a pair of flip flops with the Goga Mat footbed (I still wear my first pair from 6+ years ago). They're ALL extremely comfortable while also being supportive of all of my foot, my high arches and the rest of my body so I figured I'd give them a try as slippers or house shoes. I have had them two days and I AM THRILLED!!!! They are SUPER COMFORTABLE and SUPPORTIVE while letting the heat out of my feet when I'm having overheating issues. The straps are soft and comfortable and don't rub. I have a large kitchen and long hallways so you can log A LOT of steps in my house without even going to another floor (LOL..I found this out when I got my first fitness watch.) I was feeling really bad the day I received them with severe pain and overheating, but still needed to cook some dinner. I was dreading it as my back injury was acting up too, but I try to make sure I eat properly so I don't make my health situation worse. (Lol, I know, it sounds like I'm ancient, but I just got sick young :) I got up and put my new slippers/sandals/slides on and they really helped! I have had them on my feet ever since I got them anytime I'm in the house and I am so happy! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I can't say they're the most fashionable slide sandals, but they're blue and pink (fav colors other than black), cheerful and SUPER COMFORTABLE and SUPPORTIVE! I absolutely LOVE them so far and definitely recommend them for both in and out of the house! (I keep this pair only for wear in the house.) They're great to wear after you get out of the shower too! No matter how much I dry my feet and between my toes it always made my other slippers slightly damp so I'd have to change pairs. No issues with these! They also give me some traction around the house too! I might even buy a pair for when I go back to indoor swimming in the fall for back and forth between the pool and the locker room. As for sizing, I wear a 9/9.5 women's (mostly 9.5 now) and I ordered a Size 10. It fits well, but there is a slight extra bit in the length. It doesn't bother me at all though as it's not much especially once I start walking (I bought my Sketchers flip flops in a Size 10 too and wear them all over the place very comfortably.) I might have been able to wear the Size 9 too, but I'm happy with these! I'd rather have a little bit extra in length in slides and flip flops, since your foot does move a bit sometimes, than chance them being a little too short and overhanging when you walk. If you're in between sizes like me and you're not sure you could always purchase both sizes and use the free returns to send back the pair you don't want. (They might have the free 7 day Try On period with these, but I can't remember.) I hope I answered everything you might want to know! If anything changes I will update, but I am pretty confident that they will be just as reliable as my other Sketchers! I got a pair of these 6 years ago and loved them - still have them and they are in amazing shape. I almost lost them on a trip, so I decided it was time to invest in a back-up pair. These were just as good as my first pair. The pink is more neon than the soft pink of my first ones, which is the only thing I was disappointed about. Everything else about them is perfect. They slip on easily, they look dressy, easy to wear with socks (which I do when it's winter), easy to clean, durable, nice support and really comfy. They don't cut into my feet like almost all other sandals I've tried. They stay on well - I can walk up and down stairs in these easily. The bottoms are a very firm foam material - very tough but still with some squish. The straps are a thick, soft fabric. There are ridges on the foot area that help keep you from sliding. I usually cannot handle textures like this on my feet, but these are so mild I don't even really notice them. They have decent traction as well. They are also pretty slim and easy to travel with. They make great house slippers and well as a upgrade from flip-flops. I am now looking at getting other designs, and a pair for my mom since she really liked them too!

Comfortable, true to size

I really like these sandals. Cute design, cute pattern, great for summer. Like most Skechers shoes, they could have a slightly higher arch for my high arch foot, so I'd guess they'd have the perfect amount for the average arch foot. I have a narrow- medium foot and these stay on decently, but aren't tight, so maybe not great for a wide foot. The material feels nice and the design doesn't make my long foot look big.

My second pair of these comfortable sandals. They are exactly as pictured and described. Very good quality.

I have plantar fasciitis and never walk bare foot, even indoors. Needed a new pair of indoor sandals to wear as 'slippers' and came across these. I've had various Skecher shoes/sandals and not all styles have worked for my condition but these sandals are fantastic! After wearing them for a few hours the first day my feet were a little tingly but now I am wearing them all day every day inside my home and they feel great! The support is perfect fit by feet.. both cushiony and firm support but not too firm that my feet are aching but the end of the day. When wearing other shoes or sandals to go out I always put these on when I am home and sigh with relief... they feel that good. These are now the only sandals I wear indoors. I've disappointed so often with many different styles and brands and now that I found these I don't want to have to search again. I stay think they look nice.. not clunky like other support sandals Going to order another pair soon to wear outdoors.

Wide straps so not as snug a fit as expected compared to a similar style from the same brand. Overall comfortable but not a great walking sandal because straps are not snug enough.

These are the best flip flops I have ever owned. They are so comfortable. I am a size 6 and after reading the reviews about the sizing being large I ordered a size 5. They fit perfectly. The padded fabric straps do not rub at all and don’t squash your toes together. The soles are ultra padded and so comfortable. I do a lot of walking on holidays and have always needed to wear men’s sandals as they are the only ones I could find with some form of padded sole and straps. All the women’s flip flops and sandals looked gorgeous but always caused me foot problems when walking for a distance. I am so happy to have found a pair of women’s flip flops that look lovely and feel so great. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants to look good and appreciate comfort. I will definitely be buying another pair when I wear these out.
