Compact RD3-009 Red Dot Reflex Sight for Berreta

For what it costs it seems to be a very nice sight. I haven't tested it for longevity yet. One word of caution if mounting on a Beretta M9 22. The dove tail on the mounting plate has a relief cut for the safety on the left side of the pistol. It is a bit tricky getting it started in the dove tail slot on the slide. Both are aluminum but the inside of the slot will start to score (peel) if entry is not aligned perfectly. Don't file either surface because a tight interface especially with aluminum on aluminum is important. Fortunately, the light recoil on a .22 will be forgiving and it shouldn't loosen up.

The red dot is all over, not steady

this red dot site in Mount plates went really well on my weapon. The only thing I really don’t like about it. Is it drains the battery whether you shut it off or whether it goes into standby mode the battery just doesn’t last very long. I don’t use my weapon for long periods of time so when I go back to it and my red dot side is dead. I have to go get new batteries to use. I would just take the batteries out when I’m not using it but it’s a procedure being the way it’s mounted and what you have to do to put a new battery in. It’s kind of a pain in the butt. I have stuff other sites like that that have batteries in them and I don’t use them for months at a time and when I go to turn them back on, they still work so I don’t know what’s going on with this particular site but I can only get three stars just over the battery usage

This sight was given bad reviews due to not being able to get the mount installed. I had no problem installing this on my beretta. I suspect the original poster did not have a sight pusher.

Fits super well gave four stars not because of product but I own the beretta so many years that need to get used to it

I have to buy a whole separate mounting plate for my beretta 92x

Perfect fit for the Beretta 92X. Quality feels great and this kit included everything needed to install.

The sight itself works fine - especially for the price - but be aware that the mounting plate shipped with this does not fit the Beretta 90s dovetail. Double checked this listing and others to ensure I didn’t get the wrong one by mistake. All markings and shapes match. It’s the plate advertised, it just…doesn’t fit.
