I use this to transfer songs from iTunes to a DAC in my office, so I can listen through my stereo system.

Works great for a long distance.

I needed this cable for an HTC Vive being used in an adjacent room, which had issues with cable lengths not reaching our PC.This cable was well rated and shown to work with VR setups so we gave it a shot and it works wonderfully! We've had no issues with dropped inputs and tracking, the VR experience has been very smooth.The only issue we ran into was with the headset not registering before, which came down to an issue of polarity. We did not check the tags originally and find the end that goes to the PC versus the end that goes to a camera or device. Once we swapped which end was plugged in where, this issue was gone.I heavily recommend this cable if you have an issue of cord length and want something that won't drop input, but do be careful with which end is plugged in and to what device(s).

Cable works as it should.

I use this to connect my printer in the next room to my computer in my room. The two ends of the cord are the same, that is, they are both USB A Male to Male plugins, so if you want to plug this cord into another printer cable or USB cord to make it even longer, you will an USB female adapter to do so.

A previously ordered cable worked perfectly, but this one has faulty signal transmission that took forever to trouble shoot. I had to buy a USB cable tester to get the final diagnosis: faulty signal transmission (apparently multiple opens).Since the first cable I ordered (same length etc.) works fine, I believe it is just this cable that is problematic. Unfortunately because it took so long for me to get to the bottom of the problem (complicated system connections and electronic gear) and a delay in getting the USB cable tester, I passed by the "return window" so the manufacturer will NOT exchange this product for a working one. This makes it a ONE STAR review! If you order this and your cable works fine, great! If not you're in trouble- probably not worth the chance to buy from these guys.

If I had looked at the pictures of the cable closer I would not have ordered it since I intended to install it along wainscotting and door trim ; the connection box makes it much harder .
