Awesome vest for the price!
This is an awesome vest and very well engineered! My only issue was so many loose screws! Yes, I like many others have said the same. But the quality is VERY good! Just be sure to tighten up everything before use as you dont want to drop a very expensive cameras and lenses like I have for my business. The owners manuals are less than to be desired, however there are very good tutorials on YouTube. High quality, great price. Just tighten up the screws from the factory please and get a decent owners manual. I purchased this for my business.

Not perfect but better than tiffen ??
Ok, so for the price, I think it’s great !The materials are ok but the quality control isn’t .... my vest arrived with some screws off. Not very reassuring when you’re going to put a lot of money on it. That being said - double check and tighten all the screws and you should be good !I had the tiffen arm and vest that cost almost 4x the price.... and let me tell you... the tiffen vest was not as good !! It broke on me and was a pain in the ass to get in and out of. This is a lot better in many ways. More comfortable too.The arm is why the tiffen is good and expensive... no, this isn’t as good, but it gets the job done and works well still !Overall, since I don’t use Steadicam everyday, this is the better option, and if you ever want to get the tiffen arm, you can always use the vest parts, you’ll need it with the tiffen 🤪

Best Bang for the Buck
Dollar for dollar you won’t find a better lighter load body camera stabilizer. It even costs less than when I purchased. The best value is buying this with the Flycam Redking for under $500 on Amazon. It’s a great introduction to the world of Steadicam production. When your forearm and wrist gets tired of holding your glidecam, flycam, etc., try this and let your full body carry the load for those long shots or long days of camera work. This model will carry loads up to 22lbs.

SOLVED A PROBLEM
I was going to buy a gimbal but decided to buy this because it was about the same price and I felt would provide better support. I was right. Even for a first time user like me I was able to get very stable video.

It came with missing and damaged parts POOR QUALITY
The concept is great. I bought this to mount my stabilizer on. Unfortunately, I could not even try it since the item arrived without the four buckles to strap the vest. The waist buckle was bent to the point it would not stay in the clasp. The plastic seems to be of poor quality and easily bendable. As always, amazon was quick to issue a return label. I was very excited to try this product but now it's going back. I am sure I can find something of better quality for a similar price.

Worth it!!! I'd recommend as a minimum entry level vest.
So glad I spent the extra money and bought the Galaxy. Fit my Neewer stabilizer with Nikon D3400, Tascam DR-40 and Rode NTG2 all mounted and balanced. Even with all that, I have to add a little weight to get the softest springs down half way. I know I will grow into this vest as I upgrade to heavier equipment. The weight is really focused on the hips, placing minimal stress on my back, neck and shoulders. Extremely satisfied!

High quality, but changing springs is near impossible
Pros:- The vest and plate/arm materials are of high build quality.- Vest seems to be able to adjust to a good fit.- Good lumbar support from back pad.- Arm seems to work very well and moves very smoothly- Adjustment knobs are easy to adjust.Cons:- Near impossible to change springs. It cannot be done by 1 person and still takes at least 20-30 minutes. It's a major design flaw and should be improved, otherwise this unit is rendered useless unless you have someone to help you.- 1 small plastic washer was missing, but does not seem to make any difference in performance- The padding material is very rough and will leave your skin chafed around your neck unless you wear a collared shirt.

Compared by a genuine SteadiCam owner/operator...it's great.
As an owner of genuine SteadiCams I must say I really like this unit. My SteadiCam is designed to hold up to 30lbs. However with gimbals, DSLR's, and smartphones, payloads are aprox 5lb when fully loaded with extras like lights, mics, AV transmitters...etc. My SteadiCam is to beefy. This unit is like owning two SteadiCam's in one. I can handle the current day payloads. I can even fly my mini boom on it(like the Tango). Considering my SteadiCam cost over $14k...this is a deal at $375 w/free shipping and I had it in two days.. The materials are well crafted aluminum and study plastic parts. Other than the same modifications I've made to my SteadiCam vest, this unit is ready to fly out of the box. It also comes with adapter sleeves to mount various sleds. I actually mount my sled from my SteadiCam.If you're on a buget...yeah, I highly recommend.Only con...it doesn't have tilt blocks for the arm. I'm machining a special designed set. I'll post a photo when finished.
