Warhammer 40k - Chaos Space Marines Raptors/Warp Talons

I picked up the Chaos Space Marines Raptors/Warp Talons kit to expand my force, and it’s a fantastic addition both for hobby enjoyment and battlefield impact. The dual-build nature of the kit offers great flexibility – you can assemble them as either Raptors or Warp Talons, and the sprues include enough dynamic parts to really bring the models to life whichever route you choose. The posing options are excellent. The models have a real sense of movement, whether you build them as brutal, thruster-driven assault troops (Raptors) or as daemonic, warp-charged melee specialists (Warp Talons). I especially liked the detail on the jump packs and armour plating, which gives them a menacing, chaotic aesthetic that fits the army perfectly. Assembly is straightforward, but some of the smaller claw and talon pieces benefit from dry-fitting first as they are quite delicate. The kit offers a nice amount of customisation, including head and weapon options, which helps avoid cloned poses if you run multiple squads. Once built, they feel sturdy enough for tabletop play despite the dynamic limb and flight stand designs. From a painting point of view, they’re a lot of fun. There’s enough texture and detail to reward layering, edge-highlighting and contrast work, particularly across the armour trim, jump pack vents and fleshy warp-tainted elements if building Warp Talons. I primed mine black and found metallics, purples and daemonic glows all work brilliantly on this kit. On the tabletop, they offer fast-moving pressure and are ideal for striking key units or objectives. Raptors are great harassment units with strong board presence, while Warp Talons excel as shock attackers thanks to their melee output. It’s nice having both options from one kit, letting you tailor them to your current list needs. Overall, this kit delivers on value, versatility and hobby enjoyment. Whether you’re expanding a Chaos force or starting one, the Raptors/Warp Talons box gives you dynamic sculpts, solid gameplay utility and a really rewarding painting experience. Arrived intact, box was undamaged and all the pieces were present, I've spent a lot of my time building and painting these models. 10/10

I did think it would be a bigger box with more in ,it was a bit disappointing for the price. This has been bought for my grandson for Christmas

This was such a good product and was filled to the brim with little details would recommend to any CSM person and had a blast painting them.

All good no valid complaints. Fast shipping sealed package and all the good stuff. Only one small thing. The item received is a different version than the one in the add. In this case no big issue but some of these things are pretty specific and some newer versions have things older ones dont. Just be sure you get an up to date product if it is of concern to you. For me it didnt matter as no changes were made to these recently. However many have been added to and if you want the newest one be sure to confirm it before being potentially dissatisfied. All in all 9 out of 10 for this seller
