Q: I have a royal selangor pewter crocodile stapler. inside says "max co ltd made in japan", "b", & "6j03". what size staples needed? they seem 8mm wide.

The stapler I have is MAX HD-11FL (on bottom of the stapler) and uses 11mm sized staples. I hope this helps you some.

Q: Does this use 3/8" staples

The stapler uses #11 staples which, according to the box, have a crown of 3/8" and a leg of 1/4" (or 10.4 mm by 6 mm). The anvil produces a flat staple. I hope this helps you. It's a fun stapler to use and I bought one for each person in my office
