True Blood: The Complete Series (DVD)

Love love love this series… waited a long time to watch it but I am glad I bought the series,.. for adults eyes only but very different with all the different characters and things that happen

This True Blood Complete Series DVD box set is hands down the very best! I just got done watching the first season and it played perfectly! The quality is good. The packaging is totally on point and it's a piece of cake to use! I really like that this set includes all 80 episodes on 33 discs! I think it's great that it has extended behind the scenes featurettes, mini documentaries, and 40 audio commentaries as well! Overall I give this product two great big thumbs way up and would definitely recommend it!

True Blood is about a waitress named Sookie Stackhouse in the swamps of Louisiana who falls in love with a vampire who was turned during the Civil War named Bill. Vampires are "Out of the coffin" meaning they are living openly in society. If you are a fan of fantasy/drama/action with a bit of humor thrown in, and not afraid of hot vampire on human sex, this is the show for you! The best part of this show is that each episode ends on a cliffhanger, so it makes you wanting to watch the next one. Making this one of the most bingeable shows! I got the Blu-Ray/Multi-Format copy. The shopping page doesn't really describe what that means, but basically it means it comes with the Blu-Ray box set of all seven seasons and a slip of paper that allows you to redeem all seven seasons online, so you can watch them from your electronic device. The website is gone, but I was able to redeem the code on Vudu.com in the HDX format. I tried redeeming despite it saying the code was expired, and it still worked! Very cool! :D

Si te gustan los vampiros y estos temas esta es un excelente serie ya que los presenta como regularmente debería ser. Es bastante clásico el hecho de qué mueran como una estaca les irrite el ajo y que el sol los puede matar, pero esta serie involucra muchas más cosas Muy interesantes y el escritor tiene un excelente imaginación sabe cómo mantenerte cautivado con una excelente historia en la que los vampiros buscan ser parte de la sociedad sin embargo están aquellos que no quieren volver a hacerlo. También hay otros tipos de criaturas involucradas. En fin me salgo muy entretenido y distinto con una muy buena trama.

7 plastic cases (one for each season) with internal flip so that each disk has it's own place to clip in. Really nice cardboard case to keep them together. Collectable. Nice cardboard over-cover to keep the collectable case nice. Collectable. I am used to watching content on a macbook. I don't know the specs -- but this looks REALLY nice on a HDR 27" monitor with viewing distance from a couple meters away. I find the movie theatre and projectors to be grainy. No complaints about quality, here. I haven't watched the extra content -- but there is a lot of extra content to be watched. Shipped with no problems and arrived as expected. Could not ask for more.

Good series…kind of falls apart in the last couple seasons.

Finally a series that sucks! literally! True Blood is based on the book series, and follows the adventures of Sookie Stackhouse in a small town of Louisiana. There she discovers she has an ability to read people's thoughts, working in a bar and grill establishment, She met an estranged fellow by the name of Bill. She got intrigued by him, because She can't hear his thoughts and that's how She discovers that He is in fact a Vampire. From there, the series develops into an an erotic, drama, action, plot twists, suspense, some violent scenes, nude-o-rama. It has plenty of nudity, sex, vampires, and more. To sum up the series in a couple of lines is a disservice to it. The review is for the collection on Blue-Ray, which comes separately for every season, which is good, no gadgets or extras to amp up the price. The picture and audio is top notch, and each season comes with documentaries to add flavor to the already succulent stew. If you love the series and are going to invest in it, this is the perfect collection so far. Pick it up and watch people do bad things to each other. Get it now!

excellente série, même si les deux dernières saisons ont moins d'esprit. Sans oublier ce hic: les saisons sont toutes parlées en français, sauf la saison 7, qui n'a pas non plus de sous-titre en cette langue

Reçu en très bon état, neuf. Il y a 7 saisons et 33 DVD. Les pistes anglais et français sont disponible ainsi que les sous-titres. J'adore cette excellente série.

Amazing show but I’m annoyed.... Season 1 episodes skip a lot and sometimes The DVD takes a while to load. Season 1 disc 2 (ep3-4) doesn’t even load. Is it my DVD player? I’m gonna survive because I’ve seen them all but I’m not impressed. Can’t wait to see if this happens over the entire series discs.

Great series BUT I bought this series for a "rainy day" when I would have time to watch it. That didn't happen until last month. Seasons 1 through 4 worked great. Starting mid-way through Season 5 the dvd is skipping, pausing, and the video is pixelated. I had to buy (again) Episode 12 from Season 5 on i-tunes just so I could see how the season ended. Now Season 6 is doing the same thing. It is frustrating to get this far in to a series only to not be able to watch how it ends without buying it a 2nd time and hope that it works. I am way past the return deadline because, as I said, this was for future viewing when time allowed. The return policy assumes you are going to watch all 7 years worth in a couple of months. Even if I had started watching it as soon as I bought it, it is unlikely that I would have got to the middle of Season 5 within the return time frame. I have always had great luck with Amazon but this is very disappointing.
