Used this as an AUX power and ground connection at the end of my 2008 Chevy 2500. Makes easy to connect and disconnect from my trailer that has a winch. The possibilities are endless. Would buy again!

Solder the connections
Great connector but not everyone has a crimp tool this large. I soldered my connections. To do this I used a pair of vise grip pliers to stand the connector barrel end up. Then coated the cable and the inside of the connector with flux. Insert the cable in the connect. Next using a plumbers torch I heated the outside of the connector while feeding plumbers solder down inside the connector. Worked great!

May not work with existing connector
Some manufacturers make the connector slightly different so they may not plug into each other. Be prepared to replace both ends. Feels tough enough and has a solid contact.
