Comfortable as slippers!
These shoes are like slippers, really, they are that comfortable. I had my other ones for 5 years and used them as boating shoes and tennis shoes around the farm. They fit perfect for a size womens 10 even though in some shoes I wear a 9 1/2. I used the fit chart and also drew around my foot on a piece of paper. My foot was a 9 3/4, guess it grew over the years for a 66 year old woman who is still very active and rides horses. I tried the Keens in the same style but they were so big and clunky. for having a large shoe size these are still feminine and light, fit my foot so well. I like how they are adjustable on the heel, cover strap and also width with a string tightener. I hope they keep making these because they are my go to shoe. Hope this helps some of you who are trying to decide as I am very grateful for other reviews so as to make a decision.

Surprised me!
I am going to enjoy wearing these! I usually wear a ladies New Balance 9.5 W and a SAS 9 W. My husband has worn Teva for many years and he recommended that I buy a size 10. Perfect! I am heavy and need shoes that provide side support. These provide the support that I need and they are cool. In addition, they are wide enough for my foot. I bought them for summer comfort. Wide supportive sandles are hard to find.

Way more comfortable for long miles than I ever expected them to be.
I usually wear an 8.5 wide, but Teva doesn't make wide widths so I've avoided the brand until now. With Amazon's shoe selector system, I ordered the 9.5 as recommended and the shoes are comfortably roomy everywhere, but because of the adjustable strap design they still stay snug at the back of my heel.I purchased these just before we went on vacation and planned to use them for a pool shoe, but then had some issues with my feet aching and swelling in my regular walking shoes so I figured I'd try these for one morning walk. Wow, they were so comfortable I wore them every day and walked at least 10 miles a day on pavement.Extremely comfortable, good looks, tons of adjustment, you can't go wrong with this shoes!

That being said Teva makes the world's most comfortable sandal! The arch support is insane
This is the 4th pair or Teva sandals I've boughten. The woman's Tirra sandal is usually my go-to, but I wanted a closed-toe sandal for rockier terrains. As with any shoe, break them in well before you take them on a long walk or hike. The support on the back gave me a nasty blister the first time I wore them for more than half a mile or so. That being saidm Teva makes the world's most comfortable sandal! The arch support is insane, the velcro never goes (I've had one pair through 4 summers!), and the sole doesn't lose tred/traction.

Phenomenal arch support!
I only just received this Teva sandal and am still test wearing it around the house so cannot comment on comfort for long hikes or durability...thus the four stars instead of five. But if you are desperately looking for a hiking sandal with substantial arch support this could be it. I must wear either custom orthotics or my array of Vionic sandals/shoes to avoid foot pain due to my extremely over-pronated and flat feet. This presents a problem with hiking sandals since Vionic doesn't make one, other hiking sandals offer minimal arch support and the only hiking sandal I found with a removable footbed that can accommodate an orthotic (Keen Arroyo II) blisters my feet. Like another reviewer stated, this Teva has "insane" arch support. The toe box is very large which is great for my bunions. The heel grips nicely so the roomy toe box doesn't make the sandal feel too big. There are three adjustments...the usual bungee lacing, quick release buckle strap at the vamp and a loop/velcro strap at the heel...which provide the ability to fit a wide range of foot types. There is one downside for me, though...the bungee lacing does not seem bungee (no biggie) and the lacing adjustment button is extremely hard for my arthritic fingers to press. That said, I eventually got it done and can take off/put on these sandals without adjusting the laces. Good thing otherwise that would've been a killer for me. So far I am very happy to have found a hiking sandal with phenomenal arch support. Thank you, Teva!

Uncomfortable at heel
Tevas normally fit me well. Teva Tirras are my go-to summer sandals. I wanted a closed toe sandal so I ordered the Omnium. Like other Tevas they were very comfortable & fit well EXCEPT for the heel area. The inside extra heel padding must have hit me in the wrong place as it was irritating on both feet. I have thin ankles so it seems like padding would be a plus instead of an irritant. I tried wearing with socks for a few hours but that did not help so have to return.

Great summer shoes!
I have had the Tirra sandals for a few years and love them. I thought the Omnium would be a great summer shoe. Based on some suggesting a half size up, I ordered a half size larger than my Tirras and think that was the right call. It being close toed I didn't want to risk my toe bumping the front. I've only worn them a couple times, one day for a few hours shopping and they're very comfortable right away. Maybe a little rubbing on the heals but not making blisters, and I can adjust that strap. They do look wide but all the adjustments you can make snug it up just right. I'm only knocking off a star because when I ordered my Tirra sandals, the sizing guide was actually useful with foot measurements. Now it just lists shoe sizes....duh! The free returns are the only reason I felt safe ordering....as well as the helpful reviews.

Sandals far too difficult too get on.
These sandals are almost impossible to get on as they have no way to open them. The fastenings do not open the sandal at all. A shoe horn is essensial ?? They are comfort when I finally get them on.

Like boats!
I have a pair of 7 year old Teva sandals so I knew to order a size larger than I would normally wear. What I hadn't banked on, however, is that this model is about as wide as it is long. I could have got 10 toes into one shoe! I had to return the shoes and pay for the privilege (as they're not faulty, they just don't fit, hmmmmmmm). So I'm £6 down and still no sandals.

Pretty terrific. Wanted something to replace my favourite all time sandals, Anhu Tilden V's, which are impossible to find anymore and these come darned close. They are a bit wide and therefore loose in the toe but otherwise due to the velcro strap easy to fit. They seem stiff and hard to pull on to begin with but don't worry that goes away quickly. Maybe with time I will love them as much as those Anhu's ...

Best sandals I've ever owned
I have had the same sandals for over 8 years, wore them to work every day in the summer and they are still in good shape. Ordered these Teva's for a different colour. They seem to fit a tad smaller but I absolutely love them for support, durability and they offer great comfort. They have a nice wide toe box so toes are able to move freely. I would highly recommend these sandals for the ourdoors: river walking, trail hiking and for everyday.
