I'm really pleased with this pooper scooper. Assembly was quick and easy. The metal handles are hollow, so it's lightweight and easy to carry. I'm 5'4" and the length does not require me to do any bending. Very sturdy and well made. We have a lab puppy who spends part of the day in a kennel outside when we have to leave the house. The spade works great to scrape the poop off the cement and any remaining poop that is still in the pan after dumping, while the rake gets the poop out of the grass. The pan holds a good amount of large breed puppy poops. It's easy to clean by running under water. The plastic handle holders allow you to keep the entire ensemble together while it stands alone. Very happy with our purchase.

I never thought I'd be reviewing a pooper scooper, but seriously this is the best quality, easiest to use and most functional pooper scooper I've ever owned. If you're in need of one, I highly recommend this scooper. It's amazing how much time I spent reading through reviews before I actually purchased a new pooper scooper. If you're reading this, then you understand that having a well functioning, easy to use, sturdy pooper scooper that will hold up over time is something we dog owners appreciate. Having benefited from others’ reviews, I wanted to return the favor by sharing my experience and saying how impressed I am with the sturdiness, construction and overall quality of this scooper. A couple of reviewers complained that the handles were difficult to assemble and that the handles did not fit properly (you have to assemble them by pushing in a small button that fits into a hole in the attached handle and secures it or holds it together). But let me tell you my experience: At first I thought "Oh no, I'm finding the same problem the other reviewers complained about -- I can't fit the handles together...." At first it looked like they just were not going to insert into the top or bottom or whatever. Emphasize AT FIRST GLANCE -- but as it turned out I was wrong. I got the idea that maybe if I just tried to go ahead and actually insert what APPEARED to be obviously too small to fit --- maybe it might fit anyway, despite the appearance. And it did! This may sound a little crazy, but you just have to see it in person to know what I mean. When you're faced with the parts in front of you they give the appearance that "there's no way that's going to fit" -- and if you make a half-hearted effort you could mistakenly think you got a defective part that does not fit. So if you find yourself in that situation, try again and you may find the parts actually fit perfectly, like in my case. It really did seem at first they were not sized properly and I was sure they weren't going to fit. I'm so glad I gave it an actual try, i.e. a second try. Everything fitted together perfectly, just as it should. No problem whatever. This is comprised of three parts: I don’t know exactly what they’re called but there’s a large “platform” that hold the doggy pooh, and two different “shovel type” things that you use to push or rake the poop onto the platform. One has a solid, flat edge and the other has a rake type edge. I personally don't use the rake type for dog poop duty, but prefer the flat type "shovel thing" instead, as it's easier and cleaner, less messy to use. But I found that the rake type shovel-thing is wonderful for raking up pine cones in my yard. It's quite sturdy and easier to navigate than my large yard rake for moving pine cones and sticks. So I got a bonus with that! I highly recommend this pooper scooper! I really mean it when I say it's the best one I've ever used or owned. I'm very happy with this purchase and so glad I bought it.

The set is nice and seems pretty well made. I didn't want a cheap plastic set and this set is sturdy and easy to clean. All three pieces come in handy and can snap to the handle as a set to keep them together. Easy to assemble the handles. One handle is shorter than the others. I recommend using longer handle on the rake for further reach. Not that it matters but the finish of the metal is pretty nice too. So far it has served its purpose and i think the quality is good and should last for a long time.

Sturdy, stainless steel dog scooper. The assembly while simple had a little bump in the road because there is a difference between the bottom and middle piece so if it doesn’t click if the middle piece doesn’t click into the bottom, try swapping the two. Overall will do a good job for a long time. Very easy to clean up with both the rake and spade.

These are awesome! They are thick metal, very sturdy and durable and worth their weight in gold! I have two large breed dogs that require lots of waste management and these are perfect for the job. The scoop holds lots of waste and the rake and scraper are a pleasantly nice size. Pick up is much more effective than using smaller sets sold on the market. They can also be used for scooping up small weeds, pinecones and such.

This tool is SO much better than what I had before. I used to have a single pole 'scoop' and the part at the end looked similar to a rake. The pole was not long enough so extended use caused back pain. Also, the grass would often get stuck on the rake. This scooper has 3 poles. Each pole is comprised of three pieces you easily link together. The instructions note that, if desired, you can use fewer or more pieces to get the pole length that is right for you. comes in pieces you easily link together and if you want you could use fewer or more pieces to get a height that is best for you. The base piece is such a great size that I can pick up a bunch of piles. Although the size is larger, it is also light to carry. It looks like a coated aluminum. I hosed it off very easily. Ultimately I now get the yard cleaned up much faster and with no back pain.

I liked that this had 3 pieces (assembled) and still cost less than many of the 2 piece ones. It’s also metal since I am not a fan of plastic. It’s well made, easy to assemble and even when I keep it outside by the door in Florida for months now it still looks new- no signs of rust from our rain and humidity. It’s much better than the 2-piece set my daughter had in Oregon that rusted in a couple months. It’s also easy to hose off and clean. The size of the rake makes scooping up in the grass simple except when some pup got into something that gave a really soft stool- no fault on this equipment that makes that difficult anything would be struggling to get that out of the grass other than a garden hose. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend.

It was supposed to Be heavy-duty the pops are not heavy-duty and the pan or tray is to small But really needed something I had to use it

Fairly good quality. I tried to use for picking up poop-sicles outside. Working fairly well, but wasn't great for digging in packed snow - bent metal a bit. I think it will be great for summer though!

Returned this one and got the larger size. Hard to judge, I've gotta bigger girl and in the yard -28c not happening every day. Great product so far, I just chose smaller when. Well. Yeah. Poodle you good, ACD - go bigger.
