Grandson's Favorite Game
Our 4 year old grandson loves this game already. He's only been playing it for 30 minutes & we've been trying to figure out how to play it so he can play it. However, he's doing better at it by figuring it out on his own. He loves the "dream sequence" games. Personally, I think the regular olympic games are cuter. Graphics & songs are superb on all of the games. Lots of characters to choose (his favorites are Bowser, Bowser Jr, Yoshi, Mario & Wario). There are directions for each game & dream sequence game, however a certain impatient boy keeps pressing A too fast for me to read so we've been guessing. Imagine when we actually know the directions before we play! Ha! I'm glad our grandson is enjoying it. He loves lots of Mario games on Wii. 2/10/12 - Update: my 4 1/2 year old grandson still loves playing this game: it's his favorite now that he's learned about unlocking more "dream sequence" games (by playing more of the olympic games & achieving "awards" & "emblems". He's only allowed to play this game when he visits us - otherwise he'd be on it constantly at home. So far, he's unlocked 5 "dream sequence" games. When he takes a break from this game, he also plays my Vancouver olympic 2010 mario sonic game next. (Then Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, & Mario Sluggers). 8/5/13 - My grandson is now 6 years old & decided to play this game again. Hadn't played it for a few months after being distracted with other games. He still loves this game & now his younger brother (age 3) is highly interested in it (but not quite ready to play). It's always cool to see a game be enjoyed again. Even better since grandson is older & is even better at it so he's happier. Still a challenge so it holds his interest. :)

Extreemly fun alone or with friends
Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics is great family friendly game. I was reluctant to get this game at first because I usually play games alone. It is a 4 player "party" type game full of mini events from the Olympics as well as "Dream events" that take place in mario and sonic based levels. The game has a great cast of mario and sonic characters as well as the use of your Mii's.After doing events you get scratch cards that you can win music from Mario and sonic games as well as costumes for your Mii, the costumes add Stats to you me such as Speed and Power that will applay to your mii in events. On top of all the great fun events There is London party mode where you can travel around the city playing mini games like Find Espio ,and Olympic trivia to collect stickers. The game has great controls and is challenging enough for an experienced gammer. The game also has online leaderbourds so you can see how good you are vs players from around the world in some events. I've been having soo much fun playing this alone and can't wait to play with frinds it has a great amount of content, this was a excellent purchase. Highly recomend for your self or family. Seeing Dr. Eggman do the rhythmic ribbon alone will justify buying this game

Fun not just for yourself but for THE WHOLE FAMILY
I rented this game at first and I kinda liked it but it wasn't that fun at first because it was my first Mario and Sonic at the Olyimpic Games game and I didn't know how to play it. But once I played with my little bro, the game was starting to get more easier for me. Couple more days later, then I finally admitted that this game was The BOMB!!! Some of the features of the game: Cool CGI graphics Fun,imaginative dream events like(spoilers) fighting a humongous piranha from Mario You can view records from people all around the world using Nintendo WFC connection. Fun Multiplayer As you can tell...it's awesome for the whole family

Mario & Sonic: Part 3
With so much winding down with the Nintendo Wii, and the emphasis being shifted to the upcoming Wii U, many gamers are eager to see what is coming up next for the system. But one of the big standouts was the teaming up of Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games. With all that joy in the Summer Olympics in 2008, and the 2010 sequel Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games, many of us have been eager to anxiously see what would come up next for the challenging games that Nintendo has coming up soon. But with all of that aside, the gameplay of what Mario & Sonic would have for the next Summer Olympics would be able to do. Well, with everyone expecting a strong game, will get more like a mixed bag. Mario & Sonic At The London 2012 Olympic Games, brings on the gameplay of Mario, Sonic and company bringing on the excitement and challenge of what Sonic & Mario have had before, but yet shortchanges gamers into trying to follow up on what made the past 2 games so worth while. The gameplay does though include all of the mini-games and challenges of dream events immediately accessible from the beginning from Dream Discus, which is where Mario, Tails, Dr. Robotnik Yoshi, and others ride on elevated discuses that are thrown, and try to ride them to the finish for whom gets the most rings, without being hit from others and obstacles, and traditional events like the hammer throw, and cycling which makes its debut here, but something featured before on Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games from the Nintendo DS era. Graphically, the game looks good, but honestly there should've been much, much more in the gameplay like a Festival Mode, or a tournament mode as was the case in the past versions of the Nintendo Wii games, but also a easier learning curve for new gamers whom haven't played the earlier renditions of the game. Instead, all you get is a miniature London Party Mode, where everyone has to scramble to fill their pass with stickers, without losing the race. The control can also be a dash shifty at times, for gamers new to the Olympic games on the Wii, and could've included extras from unlockable chartacters, but more to make it standout with the past games, especially when playing against others online. All in all, if you are a die hard fan of Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games from before, you definitely are better off passing up this game, and anxiously going back to that game, and tackling Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games as well. There was much more to play and have fun with for all on the past games. If you are looking for a great mini-game suite, you definitely are better off with awaiting Mario Party 9's release when it comes around very soon, before the Nintendo Wii's run comes to a close. Not Fortune Street, or Wii Party were able to drive with gamers, and this one sadly follows suit. My son is a proud owner of this and there is not a single day that went by without him playing this with his friends. It should not be so addictive!

I bought this for daughter for Xmas as she's been wanting a new WII for over a year, just to open it on Xmas morning and it doesn't even work and now it says it's pass returning time, I have a very sad child on my hands and very disappointed that someone would sale something that doesn't work.
