VATOS Building Toy

This set is brightly colored and very attractive. My kids immediately wanted to play with it and build. The parts are big and flexible as described, but this is definitely a set for an older child, if they are going to be assembling it alone. If they are a younger child, around 5 years old, which is the youngest recommended age for this toy, you'll definitely have to help them with assembly. I gave it to my 11 year old to put together one of the models for his 2 year old sister. He was able to follow the picture directions and assemble the model as shown. He had a little trouble with the screws, so I helped with those. The tools were fun for our 2 year old to play with, as my older child put the model together. They are "simulation" tools, as the product describes, so they are only meant to be played with and are not really useful for assembly. Using our hands was fine. Took a little longer to assemble than we thought, but my son was proud of this accomplishment, and my daughter enjoyed playing with the assembled model afterwards.

I bought this for my 5 year old, he likes to watch and try to help his older brother build robots.I ended up assembling this, he didn’t have the patience to try...to be honest, my patience was running super thin!The photos are pretty easy to understand, but no room for adult fingers to hold and tighten screws.The screws are plastic, so are constantly coming loose...which is probably what drove me the most crazy!Once my son is done playing with the helicopter, this will be put away for a few years, until he can assemble without me doing the entire thing for him.With all this being said, unless your 5year old has an attention span of a 20 year old (or older), I’d definitely hold off on purchasing this product. ..unless, of course, you are totally willing to assemble, take apart and assemble each new project for the child...I am not that parent. One time was more than enough times for me!

This is really a wonderful set of stem toys. It comes in its own resealable case for easy cleanup. All of the pieces have rounded edges so nobody gets hurt.Young children can make easy things like squares. Older children can make more advanced creations such as cars or dinosaurs. Best part is that this said offers fun for older children to play with their younger siblings at the same time. It’s never too early to foster positive sibling relations.

My husband and I were very pleased with the Vatos Stem Bldg System. We were looking for toys for our local toy drive for Christmas and found this to be perfect. This can be played with for hours without having to use batteries that might be an impossible expense for the parents of this child.Happy with this product!

My son seem to love this when receiving it and is played with it nonstop and for the price you get a decent amount of parts compared to some of the Melissa & Doug stuff that you get that gives you very little to work with......so with that being said this is definitely a steal and worth picking up for your little one

My son is 7, loved this toy especially since you can build and rebuild over and over agin.He did need some guidance at first but then was able to build all the options with no help after some trial and error.

The media could not be loaded.  I love that this set comes in a toolbox so the parts don’t get separated. My nephew was thrilled it came with tools. He was able to use the book to make the suggested toys or build whatever he wanted. Love the room for imagination.

Very nice product. Only wish that it had locks so you could pick the whole box up to move it around . .
