I bought one of these three years ago from the same vendor. They had one of the better prices and the element came with an assortment of temperature limit switches. When it came time to order a second element, I used the same vendor because the product shipped quickly and was of good quality. Yes, it probably should have lasted more than three years because the original lasted for 17. But the new element, appeared to use a bit thicker wire in the heating element. So it is possible they recognized a shortcoming and corrected it. And for that I give them credit.

This heating element was an exact fit replacement for my dryer. I was very pleased that everything lined up and the performance is very good.

My Dryer: whirlpool wed5600xw0This item contains all required parts to replace the thermal cutoff on the lint trap, the thermal cutoff on the heating element clamshell, the thermostat on the heating element clamshell, and the heating element.It does not contain a new thermistor, however I followed a YouTube video on how to test mine, and it was fine. After replacing all components mentioned the dryer works great.

My dryer stopped heating and instead of buying a new dryer I choose to search my model dryer and came across this product. It shipped quickly and was easy to install and fit my dryer model. So far it’s been 2 months and it’s been working well. I do not see a difference in the drying time being longer or shorter. Works as expected. Only time will tell to see how durable and how long it lasts.

Easy to install with some basic maintenance abilities. Purchased on June 2 2023 and has lasted until 3/28/2025 I just repurchased the same one.

My dryer lost heat suddenly, and I had 4 loads of laundry after coming home from a long trip. I ordered this one and even paid extra for faster shipping. When it arrived, I was immediately surprised that it shipped in a plain box and could hear rattling inside. I opened the box to find a bare heating element without any protection, two torn open baggies with the thermostats and cut-off switches inside, and one open baggie with nothing inside. The heating element looked very used and even had burn marks on it. Now I have to wait another week for a different brand to come in and will have even more laundry piling up.

Worked like a charm and fixed up to where that it was it was running hot and drying my clothes like a charm again aim happy again!

Dryer stopped working one day. Did some online troubleshooting, pulled the heating element and found two broken coils. Needed a cheap, fast fix. So far, so good, but its only been 3 months.
