Very good though not perfect for every
The media could not be loaded. I myself need the kind of pants that allow good freedom of movement and which are more for function than fashion.I dislike "low rise" and "feminine cuts." I like for the waistline of pants to go above the navel which these pants do, for me at least. I prefer unisex styles and fitting. These pants do that very well. I usually wear men's pants but the Columbia Anytime Pants for women is unusually good. It seems they are meant to fit more like a tight in the greatest sense but I ordered one size larger (large instead of medium) and it fits more like a pair of athletic style pants. The photos of the models wearing the pants on the website has slender, taller women wearing the pants and it can make it harder to know what size would be best . Columbia tends to have clothes that run small, men's and women's styles. I have often wondered if Columbia uses American sizing standards. It was not easy for me to know if this is something I would like. I took a chance but I am glad I tried it. The fit at the waist is slightly too loose for me but not enough so that the pant falls way down below my hips. The cut is such that there is enough "hug" around my hip to keep the pants up. Not tight. Just right even though putting my hands in the pockets brings the waist down a bit. I actually need a good amount of looseness and flexibility at the waist for when I bend or kneel or sit down. I have awkward dimensions and am a bit short from knees to ankle, and even though for my age I am physically active, I have to be careful that pants do not constrict at the waist because I have a bit of a paunch. For me, pants have to have enough stretch and have the right amount of material in certain areas such as the crotch and wherever else so that when I move, the pants do not get tight in certain "high stress" areas. I also do NOT like pants that make cellulite areas obvious like tight tights do. These pants basically don't do that to me which I appreciate. It can depend on any other person's body type. These Columbia pants are great. Now, though I like the Columbia brand. It is actually hard for me to find pants that are of the right material, cut, style, fit and which has features that come closest to what I need. It seems these pants would be good just for general use so as to lounge around the house comfortably, to put on and head out the door to go shopping, take the dog for a walk, go roller skating , etc. Even to sleep in. It also seems they would be very good to wear while traveling and if you are sitting down during a long airplane ride or bus trip you are going to need to be wearing pants that are like loose fitting pajama bottoms so you can be comfortable as possible ( very important). The material is lightweight and though I have not yet used it in hot weather it seems it would be adequately comfortable for warmer weather. I am not too sure about the breath-ability of the material of course, yet it seems it probably is to a good extent. One good thing is that the pants are designed so as to have a basic appearance, not outlandish or flamboyant like certain women's workout tights. It is good for women who don't want to make a scene and the pants are versatile. You can dress them up or down. They definitely are not for formal use but you can wear a semi-casual dress shirt with the pants for a casual but subdued occasion like going to a cafe with friends or just going to the library or to the casino or if you are hosting a wine and cheese party at home. Another good thing is that the pants do not have any reflective or high-contrast logo on them advertising the brand name which would only make a pair of pants look strictly for the gym. The Columbia logo is at the back of the waist, not on the thigh or the seat of the pants. It is not particularly visible. Of course I chose a light gray color for the pants and the Columbia embroidered logo is white so there is not a really big contrast and I always wear a shirt that goes over the waist of any pants I wear. I will probably not try these pants for Yoga but I guess you can use them for Yoga and they would work nicely. Good flexibility. It can depend on your size and which size you choose. It seems that you can also wear a t-shirt or tank top with them and go jogging or riding a bike or exercising outdoors. That is, in warm weather, but seemingly if it is cool or cold outside you can just wear a pair of leotards underneath.I do not know how they would stand up to regular laundering and whether they are quick-dry. I guess I will find out when I have to launder them. The material is thin and light which is good for pack-ability should you need to bring them along when you travel, but I am not sure of the overall durability either. After saying that the material seems quite good for the kind of lightweight thin material it is. I don't know if the material will pill easily. That is something that I might find out with time. I would hope not.The pockets are not too deep but mostly I think that any kind of pockets are better than none.I think I will buy more of these if I possibly can. They are not perfect but still I like them.UPDATE: 7-26-2020 I originally tried a size Large. I have since ordered a size medium to see if they fit better.I worry about the size difference between a medium and a large.Large is a little too big, the other may be a bit too small. These pants are good in various ways. I regret that the style of the waist makes it hard to find an appropriate fit for waist and legs. I think some other people who posted a review expressed the same thing.

The BEST pants
I’ve had a few of these for several years, and they’re the best for outdoorsy women. The wide waistband makes them really comfortable. The fabric dries quickly for boating, and is lightweight enough to wear in the summer. The fitted legs and strong fabric make them great with snake boots during hunting season. They’re my go-to weekend pants, and they last for years.

Fit depends on color
I'm 5'4" 120lbs and carry weight in my midsection/hips. In the store I tried on black XS and M (what they had in stock) but the XS fit like leggings and way too tight at the waist while the M were way too big all over. I figured S would be fine but they had none in stock. Checked Amazon and not only were the in stock, also on sale but yay color choices! Been wanting a lighter pair of hiking pants and don't like them bulky so I ordered the Boulder (and Navy bc I buy everything in black and am trying to branch out lol). The Navy fit as expected but the Boulder are different as can be seen in pics/tags...older version maybe?...not sure but awful in the crotch! Going back and I'm trying City Gray, fingers crossed. They both might be a little better with a higher rise but it's not just the darkness of the Navy hiding anything. They actually do fit differently.

Extremely comfortable pants
Very comfortable and wearable all day to just about any occasion. Nice deep color. Feels soft and moves easily. Small amount of noise on movement. Seem to wrinkle easily but so easy to wash and wear. Dries quickly. XL for 5'3" 180# fits well. A tad long but smaller cuff lands easily on shoes. Leg width close fitting but not tight. A good everyday, go-to pair of pants.

My new favorite
These pants are great when you need to go from trail to city. They are a bit too light weight for cold weather, but they'll work great 8 months out of the year.

love them!!
As a larger woman, it is very difficult for me to find out door pants that fit and are flattering. These check every box for me. They are the most comfortable pants I have ever put on. I feel like they are more flattering than most of the pants that I have tried, and love the fact that the legs are straight and don’t open wide at the ankles. They have no zippers or buttons so they just lay flat underneath shirts, but yet even after wearing them on a trip all day long from the time I got up to the time I went to bed they never stretched out, No need to keep pulling them up halfway through the day like most pants like that. When they got dirty I wash them out in the sink and the next morning they were dry as they could be. I have now purchased a total of four colors of these pants for travel and outdoor activities. I have also purchased a Capri pants which I wear in his place of shorts on some of these really hot summer days. I put that these fit larger than expected, just because often pants this size although they fit, pull and tug in certain areas. These fit nicely everywhere

I love these pants!' I'm 5'5 @155 & ordered size large and they fit perfectly. They have some stretch and the length is perfect. They're a thinner pant that can be worn as casual or dressed up. I ordered gray and black.

Amazing pants! 🤩
I love these pants! Im 5’5” I found they weren’t short but a little on the longer side. I don’t mind that at all they totally can be hemmed if needed to! The pants are comfortable and light weight! In the picture it almost looks like a yoga pant but it is not. Something similar though, it has lots of stretch! I’m debating on buying another pair even though I don’t need another 😂👌🏼Can’t wait to try these while hiking! I also bought some Colombia Hiking shoes on the way! 🤩

Casual and comfortable.
These easy-going pants are comfortable and thin. In cold climates they'd be suitable for late spring or early fall. I purchased medium and they fit me more like slacks, not at all as leggings. ie, they are loose on the legs. But I like them that way. And I like the elastic waist. This review is for a dark olive coloured pair, and I'm not crazy about the colour but there wasn't much choice at the time I purchased. So I'm only rating them 3 due to the colour.

A Little Large in the Waist (But Nice!)
This is an ideal product for hiking as the nylon fabric is soft and thin but the fit may be a problem for some people. The length fits me well ( I'm 5ft., 5 in.) but the waist would probably be too large for women with a smaller than average waist size. Otherwise, I'd recommend these hiking pants.

More like a legging than a pant
I ordered these in XS since in the Columbia Anytime capri I take a size 2, and the pants were too small. The waist was ok, just a little snug, but the real problem was the legs. They were much too narrow and fit like tights or very thin leggings. And the bone color is rather see thru, so be aware of that. For reference I am a 27 waist and 36 hip.

Awesome deal!
Bought 3 for under 1000 each. Superb deal. Material is on thinner side but strong. Used for trekking. Wonderful comfort and fit. They don't go unnoticed. Hot a pair for my mom too and few friends wanted to buy as well.
