Why did you pick this product vs others?: As good as the pool store but less expensive and saved a trip by purchasing through Amazon. I can recommend this product.

thread actually 1/2" not 1/4" as advertised and labeled on box.

easy to install. assume its accurate, i dont have a way to test it. replaced broken gauge on pool filter and seems to read about same as the old one prior to it breaking.

Moisture enters into the dial face which eventually leads to corrosion and dial failure (the reason why I give only 3 stars for accuracy). This is my second time around with this gauge. I use it outside on my pool filter. Water droplets appear on the inside of the dial cover glass, I can't say from condensation or leakage. The droplets come and go, and while the first gauge failed after one season, the current gauge continues to work and is not leaking from the gauge which leads me to think condensation. It's doing what I need it to do, but I may find myself replacing it every year.
