I have very dark porch steps at night And when arriving home at night it is very hard to see!! I do not have anywhere to hang solar wall lights that have enough direct sunlight to charge it so I searched around for other options and came across these porch step style ones and watched my porch to see if enough sunlight will hit it during the day to charge! It did so I ordered them! I couldn’t be happier! Set came with the perfect amount with some extra as I wanted in case more is needed in the future if one burns out! Installation was a breeze!! I used 2 way tape to hold up rather than screws so that I could easily remove them on cloudy days to a more sunny part for it to charge! I placed a few on the edges of the steps where sun shines and a few down the center of the steps cause it looked nice there!! They all charged up during the day!! I especially appreciate that it doesn’t add anything to my electric bill!!! Solar is the new in!! That evening when I left they weren’t on yet but when I arrived home I saw a beautiful lit up porch waiting for me! I took these pics as I got home one night just so I could show you all how nice they look!! The shine from solar lights were the perfect amount! Not too bright to be bothersome and not too dim!! I can actually see where I’m walking I’m so happy!! My steps can get very dangerous at night!! These were so worth the money!! They are helping me prevent from tripping or my guest who come over! I would totally recommend these types of solar lights if you needed added light to your steps for safety of just like the look of it! I needed mine more for a safety cause and they turned out to be just what I needed!! They function just as described! I am very happy with this purchase!

The size and price are good. Installation is a snap but I did find the double-edged tape was not the strongest. I used alien tape to firmly secure in the locations where I did not want to use screws. These are great little lights. The light is the strongest right as the sun goes down which to me is fine... it's not as if people in my family are going out or coming in at 2 am or 3 am when the lights start to fade. I also did interact with customer service. One light was not working. Reply was immediate and a new one is on the way.

I have had these lights mounted on my fence for a few weeks now and still love the look. Unfortunately, 3 of the lights no longer work and 2 more are considerably dimmer than the others receiving the same amount of sunlight. Looking closer at those, I can see discoloration (yellowing/darker area) around the plastic housing on the dimmer and burned out leds. When I purchased I felt these were a good value, but now they dont seem worth the price. Edit: It has now been 4 months and only 1 of the lights is working. This was a complete waste of money. Not sure what is causing them to go out so fast, but I would guess that the electronics are not up to par for exterior lights. Second Edit: I reached out to the company concerning the problems with the lights and immediately received a response. They are aware of some of the issues with the longevity of the lights and have a new product being released and sold in September. They promptly sent me out replacements for my lights and I received them in 2 days. The new ones will be warm white or 7 color changing. I am changing my review to 4 stars for the great customer service and the fact that I now have 16 working lights.

They are so pretty. Great quality, they look good, i’m not sure about the battery life because I haven’t had them a whole week yet. But the brightness of them and the color is so good they they graduate their colors they go from blue to red to green to yellow and they all do it at a different time with each other. They’re very easy to take off and put back up. Just sit them on top of the wall right on the edge and they hang there. We have really high winds here in North Las Vegas and they have survived the winds that we recently had. They’re very lightweight. The ones I got are brown, And I do wanna say I got 16 lights when I received them one of them was not working. I did as the seller said if anything was wrong with any of them to send them a email and they will replace it so I have one coming to replace it and then they sent an extra run for a spare, and that was done immediately, and I appreciate it. I love my lights.

This is my 2nd order in about a 1 yr timeframe and several of the lights installed on an open, sunny patio do not work after initial install. The 1st order had several lights stop working in less than a 1 yr timeframe of installation. The white color is nice and the ability to fit easily on steps made these lights desirable. Unfortunately, the product doesn't have the quality to match its cosmetic appeal.

I purchased two sets to go on my deck steps to be able to see going down the stairs. I took them out and charged them all in the sun before putting them on just in case some didnt work. I had two that didnt work. I did get two sets knowing I only needed a few out of the other set. I did contact the company thinking they would replace the few that didnt work but they said they could replace the whole set. But by then I had put them all on and didnt feel like taking them all off so just keep the set since I had extra left from the other set. As of now weeks later I have had several others to stop working. So for anyone looking for lights, these are nice and bright, easy to put on, but they dont or some dont last. So up to you if you do purchase these. I did choose to keep the set due to having another to replace the bad ones. Thats on me, I didnt want the hassle of shipping them back to get whole new set. And run risk of some in it not working. Its just a risk you run. So up to you if you do purchase. for the money well worth what you get, just risk having to send all back if one or two dont work.

These lights have a warm glow and recharge quickly to give light well after dark. The size is quite acceptable and doesn’t take up much room if used on a step or hand rail. Great price for the unity and quality of these lights

Very nice product. No maintenance just stick it and forget. It oN and Off automatically by Sun light.

They look pretty good on my swimming pool fence. However one of them doesn’t work at all. Other solar lights are working fine so I think one is faulty. It is in full sunny position so it should work. These lights are a bit flimsy, and not sure how long it’s going to last under the strong Australian sun. Also they are not as bright nor warm as I was expecting.

All 16 lights were in perfect condition, and not a single one was faulty, which was a big plus. Before installing them, I made sure to charge them properly in direct sunlight all day to ensure they performed at their best. Brightness & Coverage: It's important to understand that these lights aren't as bright as electric-powered lights, which is natural since they are solar-powered with a small battery (1W output). The light is mainly good for decoration, providing a soft, warm glow. I installed them on my 100-square-yard terrace, spacing each light about 2 feet apart. I hoped they would cover the entire boundary, but they only managed to illuminate one line of the boundary. So, if you're looking to light up a large area, you might need more units, or you should consider their brightness primarily for decorative purposes. Battery Backup: The backup of these lights is around 4-5 hours, which is sufficient for the early evening hours and fine for decorative lighting. Installation: They were quite easy to install, but I used a drill and screws to mount them. Double-sided tape was included, but since my boundary doesn't have tiles and considering the weather and wind, I didn't think the tape would hold firmly. So, drilling and screwing them in is a more durable option, especially if your surface isn't smooth or if it's windy. Overall Verdict: Overall, if you're looking for beautiful and subtle decorative lighting for your garden, deck, or stairs and don't need very bright illumination, these APONUO Solar Lights are a good option. They meet expectations in terms of packaging, working condition, and decorative appeal, but it's important to keep their coverage and backup time in mind.
