Math Basics Grade 3 (School Zone) Paperback – September 5, 2003

This book has a LOT of pages about addition, subtraction, and place value that are better for the first-half of third grade. I do like the division activities, though, because they give kids great visuals to conceptualized division. Even though this book doesn't have a TON of multiplication activities, I suggest buying this book and skipping out on the School Zone Multiplication and Division book. This book has just about the same amount of multiplication and division activities, plus others for addition and subtraction. I can't get the CD to work in my Mac, so I'm going to try to call their tech support line, but overall, a good value.

Great buy! My 6 year old son loves the computer program. Just wow. Just wow. This is a great program to get kids wanting to work on math. My son thoroughly enjoyed the checkers game in between lesson. Particularly when he beat the computer. Highly recommend.

Both the book and the DVD provide an effective way for kids to review math facts.The DVD allows them to work at their own pace and the contents of the materialis in line with educational standards.

My 8 year old boy loves it!!! He gets excited about working for the games after the lessons!

This book is definitely a favourite of our tutors. It is incredibly useful as it is progressive where many other books similar to this aren't. The topics progress in a logical order and the use of pictures, colours and fun exercises keeps the kids attention. We highly recommend purchasing this book.
