Pete the Cat and the Itsy Bitsy Spider

Unfamiliar with Pete the Cat, I was pleasantly surprised when I received this book to discover its light-hearted approach to adversity and its colorful whimsical illustrations of Pete on a surfboard or lounging in the sun. My grandson liked the book, also, and enjoyed predicting the spider's next move and nature's response. We had fun singing the song before diving into the book.I look forward to reading more about Pete, the Cat.

I got several Pete the Cat books for my 9 month old granddaughter. The illustrations are nice. She enjoys this story and the others to a point (especially when I read enthusiastically). But of course, these books are more for for little ones who have more advanced language skills, and can understand the message of the story. She'll grow into them later.

I bought this and another gift for my nephew for Christmas and he loved them both he loves Pete the cat so I was excited to find The Itsy bitsy spider.

The media could not be loaded.  Great book and good for toddlers to remember with the Repetitiveness

I adore Pete the Cat books. My son is only 2 months old but I try to read too him often. These are some of my favorite for store story time.
