Great Product
After several years of service, my original sensor was damaged during an ice storm and I decided to replace the entire unit. Fifteen minutes after this new unit arrived, I was finished replacing the old unit and, like the original, the new replacement set itself up and was in use. Simple instructions and the unit was preprogrammed to connect.

Very easy to replace the old model with this new model
The battery on my previous rain sensor was on the fritz for a year or two and this year it completely died. Although I could not replace just the sensor alone, the change from the old model to this newer model was very easy. So far it has been working very reliably - I wouldn't hesitate to do this replacement myself again.

Ease of installation
This was very easy to install as an accessory to my Hunter controller. The instructions were very good. Installation time should be between 30min - 1 hour. Now I don't have to be concerned about the sprinkler running while it's raining.

Worked Great...Until...
Easy install and the rain sensor and receiver come already paired. Note: this is a complete kit that includes the sensor bracket for mounting on gutter. No need to purchase separate bracket.Easy to wire into the controller and mounting was simple. System worked great until we had a heavy Colorado hail storm (in June -- crazy weather!). So much quarter-inch hail it looked like an inch or more of snow on the ground. It beat the plants to H-E-double-toothpicks and, unfortunately, the wireless rain sensor as well. This failure may be a corner case, but Colorado does get a fair amount of hail (just say'in). I'll give it the benefit of the doubt this first time.I'm replacing the kit with same and will give it another try. Didn't seem fair to claim it as a warranty replacement since it was a bad storm. BUT, if it fails again in the near future, I'll look for a different solution with the knowledge this wireless rain sensor isn't robust enough for this climate.

Buy one or the other, not both
Product seems great, but I think wireless wand eliminates need for this.

Lasted 4 1/2 years
My remote held up very good. Mounted to gutter on East side of house for morning sun. It lasted 4 1/2 years which is pretty good.Easy set up and lasted through multiple hurricanes.

Relinking worked. It works as expected.
This works as expected. Makes me wonder if the disks in the original sensor went bad.

Great Product; Terrific Service
The WR-Clik is well designed and easy to install. Inside the package was a note from the seller Jamie of [email protected] offering any technical assistance or any other customer support. I had a few questions not answered by the installation guide so I emailed Jamie for help. This was over a weekend and we exchanged three emails trouble shooting the issue I had (one that was caused by me removing the old non-working sensor that I owned). Try calling a major company for technical support over the weekend - right? Not going to happen! Jamie means it when he says he cares about his customers. Thanks Jamie.
