I did not use this for sound, so cannot speak to sound quality. I am using it as an extension for an egg switch; a type of switch used to control special features on a power wheelchair. It is strong, well made, and worked perfectly.

It does the job well.

I used this to reach my microphone cable to the back of my car where my Bluetooth module is for my car stereo. It made a solid tight connection both at the female end where the microphone plugged in, and also at the male end where it plugs into the Bluetooth module. The shielding is as thick as some stereo cables, and the length was accurate. Thank goodness - I was within 1.5 inches of not being able to reach. So, I'm super happy the length was as described. I tried using my microphone, and it sounded great - clear with no crackles or fuzz noise. So, I guess that means it works.
