I like to sleep with my rollers in my hair for ...
I like to sleep with my rollers in my hair for several reasons - it's convenient, no heat damage to my hair, and I get a beautiful long lasting result for the following day. I've been using this brand of foam rollers for several years now only because I cannot seem to find another brand of foam rollers in this 1.5 size. They are very comfortable but there is TERRIBLE problem with them - the plastic snap holders don't work! The plastic holders are flimsy and they don't snap shut. So... what I've had to do over the years is substitute the plastic holders from this set of 1.5 sized rollers with holders from a different set of rollers - that is, the 1 inch sized roller set that I have, made by the same company! for some reason, the holders of other sizes are thick and sturdy and do work. But not in the 1.5 roller size! So, I would not recommend this product until the manufacturer improves the quality of the plastic roller snap holders.

Cheap!!! But end result was achieved 🤷🏻♀️
The product is very cheap. The hinges kept snapping and breaking off and I had to keep resnapping them in place. It was annoying! The satin is cheap and kept sliding off the foam. Once on they were comfortable and I did get the end result I was looking for.

Ineffective....
Like the weightlessness, gentle impact on hair. Was wanting to get away from using self-gripping rollers or anything with pins which were causing tangling, hair loss. These are not as sturdy as the comparable product many decades ago. The old ones were softer, more sponge-like and had sturdier clasps. The foam on these is rather 'crispy,' the clip quite flimsy. First few times using, these gave hair an odd 'musty' smell. Reversing the snap lock, as mentioned by others, does seem to help prevent the pieces separating but also find them difficult to snug up against scalp so they end up flopping around. After wearing for many hours, whether starting with very damp or almost dry hair...even adding some blow drying...the lovely, subtle curls that are achieved fall out in mere moments.Update: after several weeks, lots of trial and error, have learned that if damp hair is wound very, very tight, and rollers are left in for many, many hours (part of day and all night), the resulting curls are just what I was hoping for. So initial disappointment has turned to being satisfied, for the most part. (Still wish the clasps were sturdier.)

A Staple in my Natural Hair Regimen (Love Them)
I was looking for away to keep my curls daily without using heat I saw a YouTube tutorial using these satin rollers and the end results were awesome. So I ordered them to try and create the same results. My hair has been natural for almost 3 years and it's very curly (with tight coils). I washed, deep conditioned, blow dried, and flat ironed my hair that night I sectioned my hair and rolled it with the 1 inch and 5/8 inch rollers. When I woke up my curls were beautiful, bouncy and full of life. My curls were tighter because I rolled them all the way up and they got looser throughout the day. Which was perfect for me, my curls last all day long and I was able to do this daily without apply heat. Now when I follow the same process and use the 1 1/2 inch rollers you get bigger looser curls and they also are beautiful, bouncy and last all day. When I was younger and used foam rollers they left dents in my hair, this is a foam roller with satin over the foam and the satin make a huge difference. My curls were flawless, no dents. One of the best investments in my natural hair care regimen.

Pathetic - that's all I can say to describe these.
Every time I order these needed beauty items (foam rollers), they're smaller. This order is almost too small to even use. They're made in China, and each shipment over several months is more inferior than the one before. Without USA-made curlers, I'm going to have to think of something else. A waste of good money on this one...

Ok, for the price.
Well, The work very well! It's just that, they definitely only come with 8 and not the 10 that is advertised, so I should have ordered 4 packs instead of 3. Also the satin is only attached to the foam in one place, where the 2 ends of the satin meet. So the rest of the satin isn't stationary on the foam, meaning it does slide with movement, so you have to be careful how you roll your hair. The whole point of the roller is to give your hair satin to be rolled on, and once you start to roll your hair the pressure brings the satin slip down, so on the more outer portion of your roller, there is no satin. I did not prep my hair properly, so the curls did not turn out well, but I did take photos in the roller for size relation.

Product was made of cheap material
The clamp on the roller is flimsy. It broke off after a couple of uses. I would have returned them if I had not passed the return date. I purchased 2 packs and very few of them are not broken yet but they will break eventually. I really think I should be compensated for such a poorly constructed product. I've had other brands that have lasted for years. At first, I thought it was 1 or 2 rollers that were defective but no, yesterday at least 4 of them broke while I was trying to use them.

Perfect size! Use alligator clips to hold them.
I use these almost every night, on dry hair. They are the perfect size for the front of my hair. I pull my longish hair to the top and use about 4 curlers. Other reviewers have complained about the plastic things that are supposed to hold the rollers in. I just toss those and use the 3-1/2" alligator clips to hold them. No problem!

Great product!
These are excellent quality foam rollers at a great price. Rolling hair is a skill that takes time- don’t blame the rollers! Foam rollers will naturally squash under the pressure of a tight roll (you WANT a tight roll), so always order at least .50 bigger that you need. Therefore if you like the1.0 curl size produced by your curling iron, make sure you order 1.5 min. Also, foam rollers WILL dehydrate the hair, so add a little more oil/cream than you normally would.

Ok product, sometimes hard to use, has a learning curve...
Tried it 3 times on my pretty long hair... (middle of my back). First time it didn't worked at all, I looked crazy. Second and third time was better, but the fine balance between ''not wet enough'' and ''too wet'' is pretty hard to achieve. Took me 3x the time to curl my hair with the rolls than with my fingers (like I usually do). If you have short/medium long hair, you'll be ok. Long hair, forget it, use your good old curling iron.

Perfect rollers for perfect curls
This product was extremely easy to use and the curls came out very well. I tend to use it on the ends of my hair to protect it while I’m sleeping and also to give it a nice look when I wake up.

Wouldn't suggest this product.
As a hairdresser I found these very hard to use. I went back to my velcro rollers. You need rolling papers to help contain your hair to be able for your hair to stay put in them.Too old school. Alot of unnecessary work and time. Doesnt create a nice curl either. Service was good though. Came right away. Tried them so I could try to be comfortable sleeping in them .
